Restaurants in Martley
The New Inn
Old Rd, Clifton upon Teme, WorcesterHave had many Sunday lunches here. The lamb is to die for and the beef & pork are just as melt-in-the-mouth. The veg is very good and all fresh (except the peas), though portions are small, and you pay extra for cauliflower-cheese. Lovely Yorkshire puds too. Dessert menu good but could do with revision. Will be there again this weekendParking: Huge car park - if you were unable to park then you wouldn't be able to get inside the pub either!

The Fox & Hounds at Lulsley
Lulsley, WorcesterGreat Sunday lunch. Found via OpenTable app. They were extremely accommodating by coning off a parking area for us to access the front of the pub, avoiding steps and complicated routes for our party with some mobility issues. The food was tasty, well presented, lots of it. The broccoli cheese was amazing. Good selection of beers and wines. Very personable, friendly staff, who were all extremely helpful. One to add to our must repeat list. Thank you.

The Masons Arms
Masons Arms/Castle Hill, WorcesterStop off whilst in the area following a day out. We were warmly greeted, offered a table and sat down.. Good drinks selection and the table service was perfect. Served by an amazing young woman who was super friendly and very helpful (she bore a striking resemblance to Jacqueline Jossa may I add ?) Food was delightful really good menu and the food was very good.Atmosphere here is super relaxed and friendly and despite it being populated with locals we did not feel unwelcome quite the opposite. If you are passing by worth a visit.you will not be disappointed.

Chim Doo Thai
Venn Ln, Wichenford, WorcesterWe had heard really good things about this restaurant and take out, and they were 100% right. We decided to try it for our first wedding anniversary, but didn’t want to eat in so ordered over the phone. We asked about a few of the dishes and the staff were really helpful (I don’t actually like chilli). We had the prawn spring rolls and ribs to start and they were so good. The prawns were whole and wrapped in filo pastry and were crispy without being full of fat. There were four ribs that literally fell off the bone. I had the duck with red wine sauce and crispy noodles. The red wine sauce was separate so you could ave as much or as little as you wanted. There was a whole duck breast cooked to perfection and sliced. Hubby had the duck with spring onions, chilli, and veg and it was perfectly balanced and tasty without just being full of heat. We shared a rice noodle side with prawns and this was a really nice surprise and complimented the dishes we had. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of trying something other than a greasy and deeply average Chinese. It is absolutely worth driving out there for a meal in the restaurant or for takeaway. A wonderful find.
