We love it here,Gary and his team keep their beer better than anywhere else I know. It's friendly staff and regular clients create a great atmosphere and it's added to by regular visitors to and from the SVR and Bewdley town which is just a short walk over the bridge. Their ales are splendid,in particular their Butty Bach and the legendary 'Numbers'. ?

An absolute gem! If you like delicious food, and I mean delicious! That is presented beautifully, with impeccable service then go here. We have been here twice and will definitely go again. If you like fish then I recommend the Lemon sole outstanding flavour and presentation. I can also recommend the fillet of beef, delicious flavour cooked to perfection. I wish I had belly room for 2.

Excellent dining experience. Staff were friendly, clean and professional. The food was delicious!! And the atmosphere was lovely. They are very clear that they don't serve alcohol and you can bring your own. This made it a very friendly environment, although we didn't bring any, some tables had.

Vegetarian options: The first Indian ive been to that has all curry's with a vegetable option and also a quorn option!

Me and my partner went to the Black Boy for the first time last weekend and I think we have found our new favourite local pub. An excellent choice of drinks, cobs and bar snacks
The drinks are quite inexpensive for today's standards also
The staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome, the pub has a lot of character and a very homely feel.

Lovely Sunday carvery which you choose and are served by staff. There was beef and pork which was well cooked, choice of veg, boiled and roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing which was a good price. Good choice of traditional puddings including syrup sponge, crumble, ice cream sundaes, brownie and cheesecake with a choice of cream, custard or ice cream. Quaint old pub, staff friendly. Outdoor seating to front and rear.

Nice place, has an indoor area for when it's raining. The staff are really lovely. The food was nice but I would have prepared the pork sandwich quite differently. Large lumps of stuffing at one end rather than a distributed amount and gravy too thin to be in a sandwich. Not a budget cafe but very pleasant atmosphere with lovely staff. Dog friendly with free treats for them is a nice touch.

The Rustic Kitchen

It’s a social place to eat and have a drink, don’t come expecting a quiet pub with fancy food (I mean this in a nice way). It’s a nice place to grab a meal and a drink with friends or family. Food is tasty and well priced, drinks not overpriced. Some good ice cream flavours for the kids or adult kids. Portion sizes are on the larger side (which is good) a family share chip portion is huge for £7. Food is pretty speedy even on busy days and staff are nice.
Indoor seating and outdoor seating (covered or open to the elements)
Niggles.
The baby changing needs sorting out as it’s a bit high if you’re shorter side like my partner.
Parking can be a bit tricky but there is overflow to the right if people don’t park like morons and block access.

Can get a bit noisy at busy times but we’ve been a couple of times and enjoyed it.

The Little Pack Horse

31 High St, Bewdley

I am 78 years old and played football for Bewdley Comrades at Gay Meadow in 1963.
Just round the corner is The Little Pack Horse pub, which I have never been in until today. Where my wife and I were served drinks by the adorable Ella and served some sumptuous food by chef Jordan.
This really is a hidden gem, well worth a look.
The food menu is extremely varied, something for everyone.
Get yourselves down there, you will not be disappointed.
