The Butt of Sherry is an old English pub located in the charming town of Mere, just three minutes from the A303. Though it only opens Thursday to Saturday from 3 pm onwards and no longer serves food, it offers a lovely atmosphere with a log fire in winter. Guests can enjoy a selection of beers and ales, along with pots of tea and coffee. The free car park across the road makes it an easy stop, and visitors appreciate the friendly welcome received.
