62 The Borough, Downton, SalisburyAn amazing place to eat!! Would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and nice. Food portions are big with a variety of different things to try. Other than a small misunderstanding about the menu from our server everything was incredible. We will 100% be returning. ?????

The Wooden Spoon
17 High St, Downton, SalisburyPopped in for a couple of pints and lunch with my wife and sister. From the moment we went in we were made to feel very welcome. Service was spot on with a smile and some good humour. The food was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back next time I visit my sister in Downton

Spinnaker Fish Bar
10A High St, Downton, SalisburyBack in the hands of the original management, and back to high standards. Chips are crispy and plentiful (we share a single bag), fish is a good size, nice batter, curry sauce is lovely. Prices are fair - no such thing as cheap fish and chips these days of course. Seems to always be busy now and has been great for us while we have our kitchen refitted (maybe not our waistbands). Hope it stays open!
