The Compasses Inn
Lower Chicksgrove, SalisburyThe Compasses Inn is everything that a good, English country pub should be; well-maintained, local beers served in a lovely setting; providing good, unpretentious food that is well-prepared, using great, local ingredients and served with care. The menu is (thankfully) not too big but still contains something, often with a twist, for most tastes. The staff are attentive without being intrusive and are always friendly. In Winter, it is dark and (mostly) cosy - there are a couple drafty spots near the ancient, ill fitting windows - with roaring fires, and in Summer the el fresco dining provides the perfect location for leisurely lunches or to while away an afternoon against a bucolic backdrop.

Chestnut Yard Studios
Manor Farm, SalisburyAbsolutely beautiful setting! I have been using the The Stalls as my own personal office for the last couple of days. The Coffee and food is fantastic and Anna and Maggie are exceptional owners. Best Cappuccino in the Valley if not the South!
