70 Uppermoor, PudseyDespite being there for a funeral, I can recommend this place. Staff were excellent and it’s obvious they have lots of bands, quizzes etc across the week. Good quality food for our buffet and the regular menu looked good. Some real ale plus all the usual lagers etc.
Parking: Very small parking area, the rest is on the road nearby.

116 Richardshaw Ln, Stanningley, PudseyWe celebrated my brother's birthday here today, the owner was sound and explained the menu and thinking behind it, was a different but a good experience as we were expecting mixed grills etc like Sheepy in Leeds. Funky Indian doesn't serve traditional currys (dopiaza, bhuna, jalftezi) but that's what they're trying to educate the majority of Indian food lovers that think going to an Indian must include currys. Love the fact it's not halal. Food was very good and filling, tried a variety of different offerings as there were 11 of us and the cost was around £100 between us all and the portions are very generous. The 3 ltr cocktails are banging.......Will be back again without a doubt.

If you love lotus biscoff then this place is paradise. Sundaes and cheesecakes galore such a wonderful selection. Sidrah was awesome, so friendly and she made our treats with love! Excellent customer service. You definitely need to visit.

Personally don’t like super hot spices but they will adjust to your preference- Tikka Masala, Rice and a HUGE naan was enough for me and my partner to share absolutely beautiful food, really well packaged, the dishes in plastic boxes all put into a sturdy carry box to protect the pappudoms etc. great price, fast delivery to wortley amazing value will be ordering again for sure! thank you!

We wouldn't consider eating in as the atmosphere isn't what we would usually want from a curry house (it's more marketed as a desert shop which is fair enough). It's really clean though and the service is fab. We're going to keep getting out take out from here for as long as it's open - love it! Oh, and if you do want deserts they are to die for by the way.

The food is delicious and affordable! Which is hard to find nowadays! We get the set meal and the curry is amazing! We both agree that the Pilau rice is the best we have had! The Popadoms are never greasy! The starter is full of variety and flavour. The Chapattis are perfect, they're light and tasty! The food is always hot and the customer service is on point! ? Make sure you give this place a try! We are so glad we did! Our new favourite curry place!!!

138 Lowtown, PudseyOrdered from here twice now. First time they missed an order so we had to wait for that to be prepared. Second time I placed an order online. Was advised it would be ready to collect in 20 minutes however when I arrived to collect the order it hadn't been started and was advised it would be another 15 minutes. Having said this, when I got the food home it was absolutely spot on! Pizza is gorgeous and the chips are fresh and crispy, not soggy at all. Despite the initial mix up the food was worth it on both occasions.

I am from America and been to his place many times and never disappointed. The last visit he made the food himself, a big treat. I highly recommend. It is not sit down but incredible take away. A little disappointed that my coffee I ordered was just instant coffee instead of fresh. At £2.50 I would have expected at least percolator / filter coffee. It wasn't even stirred and the instant was floating at the top of the glass. That was the only downside however, hence my 4* review. Staff were lovely and very attentive with our group of 8.

The Wetherby Whaler
32 Lowtown, PudseyI was eager to review one of the seven branches of The Wetherby Whaler, and on this occasion, I chose Pudsey. There is a good-sized private free car park to the rear of the building. The shop is large, with a dedicated chippy takeaway and a spacious restaurant. Everything was tidy, and the customer service was commendable. The packaging was environmentally friendly.
I opted for the Whaler Haddock, which was a thick jumbo fillet encased in a dark, crispy batter. The batter had a colour I had never experienced before, but the taste was excellent, as was the haddock. However, the chips were pale, much too firm, and rather bland. The potato scallop was a bit oily (beef dripping) and, like the Yorkshire fishcake, could have benefitted from being left to drain for a minute or two before packaging.

Absolutely stunning food, massive portions, really good prices and, to top it all off, the kindest, sweetest staff members I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you are ever near pudsey, forget going anywhere else, go here.
Vegetarian options: Large veggie selection. My veggie mum has been here several times and ordered a new dish everytime, she plans to get through the whole vegetarian menu, watch this space in 5 years!

You can tell it was fresh as everything was so tasty, NOT chewy and stale, and got the biggest bag of prawn crackers that every other restaurant skimps on. The crispy wan tons were filling in their own right, on there own, they were amazeballs!!! The chicken n sweetcorn soup was gorgeous and the bbq spare ribs were good quality and actually had meat on them, the deep fried crispy beef was beautiful aswell, delivery was on point, even before the time given for NYE delivery, lovely delivery girl too, I'm well impressed and this is my new fave for future ordering. You've done amazing chefs ????

116 Richardshaw Ln, Stanningley, PudseyWe celebrated my brother's birthday here today, the owner was sound and explained the menu and thinking behind it, was a different but a good experience as we were expecting mixed grills etc like Sheepy in Leeds. Funky Indian doesn't serve traditional currys (dopiaza, bhuna, jalftezi) but that's what they're trying to educate the majority of Indian food lovers that think going to an Indian must include currys. Love the fact it's not halal. Food was very good and filling, tried a variety of different offerings as there were 11 of us and the cost was around £100 between us all and the portions are very generous. The 3 ltr cocktails are banging.......Will be back again without a doubt.

I have only got sandwiches from here which are served in bread baps white/brown but you can also get a large white bap and they keep you full for such a long time!Get there early for most choice of cold meats especially chicken. I’ve had the coronation chicken and it’s bang on!Fab friendly staff!Other choices include panini, jacket potato and filling, hot sandwiches and an abundance of crisps. Can also get samosas and a selection of cakes / tray bakes. Selection of drinks available too including energy drinks.Very limited seating (for two) inside.

Outside In Sports Bar And Golf Simulator
Unit 4, Business Center, PudseyWe had our football team Christmas party here. Was a fabulous evening, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Lots of activities to do and try. The boys had a great time thank you.
