Altofts Poplar Inn
Poplar Inn, 151 Church Rd, Altofts, NormantonFootball was on large TV screens during my Saturday lunchtime visit. A Purity Brewery real ale was available on the bar, which was in perfect condition. I've visited many times and will do so again!

119 Altofts Lodge Dr, Altofts, NormantonKelly made an amazing Hot Tub cake for my partners birthday. It was beautifully made and was commented on by everyone who saw it, all said it was incredible. It was also delicious, beautiful light lemon flavour.. it was such a shame to cut it and eat it. 100% recommend Kelly any day of the week. Brilliant

159 Castleford Rd, NormantonAbsolutely fantastic the food is excellent, it doesn't ouze grease like some other shops. Everything is freshly cooked and you are not waiting too long. The spicy curry sauce is to die for, I buy extra, to take home and freeze it. When it's defrosted it's still the same flavour and consistency. Service is brilliant thanks very much.

Lovely polite owner.
Tried the pizza, was very crispy, cooked, cheese nice and soft, I enjoyed it.
The donner kebab was tender, not salty like many are. Chips tasted fresh again, in clean oil, not expired oil like majority.
Truly enjoyed the fresh taste.
Would definitely recommend

Had curry from here on a few occasions now and the standard has always been exceptionally high.I noticed in the comments complaints about prices but it's the reality of the current economic situation and unfair to give bad reviews based on solely on price.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. They use vegetable oil so all veg curries are suitable for vegans. Will make curry pizza minus the cheese if you fancy some tasty junk food. When I tried this it smelled phenomenal.

156 Wakefield Rd, Normantonwe ordered the chicken curry, teriyaki tofu and the sweet and sour balls. Absolutely lovely and when we picked it up I couldn't even put it on my lap in the car, the food was that hot! We loved everything and for the price it was more than worth it

The rice was spot on too and the cheesy chips and I ordered a can of dr. pepper but as they did not have it they kindly sent 3 cans of diet coke which I thought was nice of them... was impressed with food, service and the driver too. Well done Royal Balti will be returning!!
