11 Church St, IlkleyTony was a wonderful host for our society meal! Reserved seats for a party of 20 and they helped us organise to make sure there was enough Sunday Roast for everyone! The food was phenomenal, definitely recommend after a hike in the Ilkley Moors as a cosy, friendly pub with delicious food!

Dietary restrictions: I prefer not to eat more gluten than I need to, even though I’m not allergic to it. The menu is very clear about this sort of dietary requirement , with plenty of choice .

With all that melty cheese and sweet caramelized onions, every bite is packed with flavor. The burger sauce just seals the deal. It's a big, tasty burger that’s totally worth the price. Definitely grab one if you're hungry!

28 Brook St, IlkleyThis was the best kebab I’ve had in my 15 years of eating kebabs. The chips were perfect, the cheese atop most and below was sumptuous. They layered it like a lasagna. Every bite was a treat which left me wanting more. The kebabs meat itself was juicy AF. The sauces balanced the chaos. I woke up thinking about it. Recommend to a friend.

9B, Station Plaza Station Rd, IlkleyOne of my favourite pizzerias especially for the thin Romana bases. Quite pricey but as always I don't mind paying extra for food food. Consistent across restaurants and offer a decent loyalty scheme. Currently on silver level and we get free dough balls, hot drink and cold drink on every visit. For my birthday the scheme gave me a free pizza with around 3 weeks to take up that offer. Great service

Queens Head Hotel, 93 Main St, Burley in Wharfedale, IlkleyThe Queens Head is exceptional! The menu is excellent, traditional, rustic food that hits the spot. I had chicken and ham pie and I couldn’t fault it! The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the presentation was done with such care and attention to detail. The staff were lovely and looked after us very well indeed. Can’t recommend our lovely village pub enough, oh and the atmosphere was buzzing!

They are 1 of the only pizza places round here that have a vegan cheese option unless you want to order from a chain which we don't! Being dairy intolerant and not vegan, I love that I can create my own vegan cheese pizza with meats on it, and it is honestly so delicious! Can't recommend enough.

32 The Grv, IlkleyI dropped by with my sister this morning. The service, as always, can't be faulted. Prices are steep but you're paying as much for the experience as the food, which is generally very good. I was, though, disappointed with the bacon muffin. One small rasher of bacon seems pretty stingy to me given the £8 price (although we were charged £8.95 due to an error with the till). I'll come back again for a special occasion but will be more mindful of what I order.

I wanted to go home but stopped by for a quick coffee and bite to eat... the staff where so welcoming, and I don't just mean, hi and a smile, I mean really welcoming, really cared about your morning, service with not just a smile, but a laugh and banter... it was so refreshing to watch in this day an age of automation and tech... they proper lifted my spirit, made me realise it's not all that bad... and the coffee and tea cake was bloody awesome. Thank you so much for making me feel good!

Outside The Box Cafe
The Victorian Arcade, Outside the Box, IlkleyWhat a lovely spot!!! Called one cold Thursday afternoon for coffee and cake whilst visiting Ilkley for the first time. Hadn't seen many cafes ( and I refuse to queue outside and pay inflated prices of a certain other cafe in the area!!) when we spotted this by the car park.The cafe was lovely and warm. It is really quite big with some of the tables being out in an old, covered arcade. There were even blankets out here for the more colder days. There are tables for two or four then longer tables for larger groups. The tables and floor were spotless, the staff were welcoming.Our coffee was good and hot and full of flavour and the coffee cake was a proper Yorkshire size!!There are some vegan options - plus ice cream for dogs! And I saw a lady come for take away.It wasn't until I started looking at the boards in the arcade that I realised it was a Community type cafe and I started to take more notice. It was wonderful to see the adults working together! What a fabulous place!So, if it does take a minute or two longer for your food to arrive , don't moan , just think how lovely it is that people with disabilities are being given the opportunity to be trained up for a job! The beautiful young lady that served us couldn't have been more pleasant!! She had a constant smile on her face!! How gorgeous! She looked so proud to be working - and so she should be!Two words of warning - you do need to pay by card ( not a problem to the vast majority of people ) and, I've been told, they sell out of scones quickly on busy days!!So, if you give them a visit remember - There is still some good things happening in this world !❤️❤️❤️Ps we added £1, as a donation , to our bill and they were so genuinely pleased. We won't miss the £1 but it means a lot to them.

7 Railway Rd, IlkleyWe had lunch at Emporia Italia and it was faultless, from the friendly service to the delicious freshly cooked food. It is not surprising that they are fully booked on Fridays and Saturdays for months ahead. The only disappointment is that we live 200 miles away.

Moor Rd, Burley in Wharfedale, IlkleyFantastic find in Burley Woodhead. We spent a few days there walking and visiting family, and stayed in the hideout above the pub (also great!). The food was excellent, the team were super friendly and it really is a dog-friendly pub. Lovely atmosphere every night

52-54 The Grv, IlkleyThis is a very cosy, friendly cafe in a great location in Ilkley. All four of the dishes at our table were delicious: bean & feta salad, Moroccan lamb wrap, chicken & brie sandwich, and smoked salmon and avo fresh gf bread. I highly recommend lunch there if you're in the area.
