Top Floor, The Tannery, Northowram, HalifaxMyself and family visited The Tannery for their ‘steak night’ and had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive and friendly and there was a nice atmosphere all round. The steak deal was fantastic value for money and cooked to perfection. All of our steaks came exactly as asked, top marks to the chef. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu, so can’t comment on that, but steak night is a must for anyone (vegan option also available). Highly recommend.

Venue a bit dated and toilets ok but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues that needs walker or other
Wheelchair accessibility: Couldn't see disabled parking but access to toilets is not suitable although we were advised

6 Denholme Gate Rd, Hipperholme, HalifaxMy local chippy. Whopping portions. Perfect crispy batter on the fish. Good chips. Only let down no original curry sauce. But that's just a me thing. Great service and a very fair price for the insane portions. And that's a good thing.
