The Gun Inn Findon is a grand old village pub that offers a great selection of well-kept Ringwood draught ales. The restaurant is often busy, and the menu looks very promising, with delicious and filling Sunday roasts, including a lamb shoulder that falls apart easily, accompanied by an abundance of vegetables and gravy. The portions are generous, and the desserts, such as the pavlova and rich chocolate brownies, are large enough to serve two people. The service is attentive and genuinely friendly, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant, although the garden could use a refresh. Parking can be a challenge in the busy Findon area, but the restaurant is worth the walk from the roadside parking.
