River House, 34 High St, Storrington, PulboroughMum and I stopped by the Cranleigh tea rooms. Wow! Soup and scone was the best. Loved the decor and the crisp cloth tablecloths give the place a luxury feel. Staff really friendly and nothing too much trouble. Thank you!!

Mill Ln, Storrington, PulboroughJust popped in for Cod & Chips. Not used Storrington Fish Co before. Without doubt the nicest, tastiest Fish & Chips we have had in years. Tried many Fish & Chip establishments in West Sussex. Storrington Fish Co is going to see us again. Excellent.

The Old Forge Restaurant
6a Church St, Storrington, PulboroughAn annual holiday "thank you" dinner funded by a charitable organization for unpaid volunteers. Cathy went out of her way to accommodate 18 of us in a space usually geared to tables for smaller numbers, but such an intimate and warm space, which we all really enjoyed being in. We were provide with an in-budget menu selection which catered for all taste prior to booking. Patrick's food was beautifully high tailored and sophisticated, and perfectly cooked, plus exceptionally well priced. All who attended said it was the best "volunteer annual dinner" that they had ever had. All said that they'd be back for family gatherings, dinners and hopefully for next year's annual event. Thank you The Forge, Storirngton's hidden gem.

Vegetarian options: I happen to live their mixed veg in black bean sauce and their lo hon vegetables. Really yummy.
Dietary restrictions: They can always talk you through what are in dishes, really kind and helpful. I have lots of restrictions and have never had any issues with the meals they have recommended as fine for me.

Cottage Tandoori
25 West St, Storrington, PulboroughI have been using this restaurant for over 40 years since the first owner Mr. Choudry opened it. I still go regularly, and have been there this evening for a reunion with some work fellows. The service was brilliant and the food was excellent.

Units 9 & 10, Old Mill Square, 10 Old Mill Dr, Storrington, PulboroughI was there last Monday and had the unfortunate need to enter the toilets. OMG!! They were worse than an old fashioned pub with the toilet visibly stained and paper strewn all over the floor...I appreciate one delinquent could have done this and perhaps the staff hadn't noticed but it was dreadful.....

Excellent service from the two young lads and the waitresses.
So much food we took some home. Tasty both on the evening and heated up the next day. Lots of beautiful vegetables and interesting dishes.
