6 Hillfield Rd, Selsey, ChichesterWonderful service, I didn't stay for food but have been there before and loved it. The room was small and the floor was very creaky and it felt like the wardrobe would fall on me walking past but this did not happen and obviously this was what you would expect staying over a busy and lovely pub restaurant. Furthermore the decore was lovely and a little car park was a great bonus given the location.
All in all a very practical and lovely place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a convenient place to stay if visiting the local area and expecting to be out for most of the day.
Next time I'll leave an updated review of the (always delicious) food.
Update 2025: stayed here again for a family funeral and I have to say the staff took care of us incredibly well and accommodated dietary requirements seamlessly and with genuine care. The food was outstanding for the price and their willingness to go above and beyond to support our grieving family is commendable to say the least.
Rooms: Small, window air-con won't work if the window is open (which is a great idea) and floor feels creaky. Very modern and comfortable.
Food and drinks: Great food with good value and ability to accommodate dietary requirements even at short notice. Didn't ask about cross-contamination for coeliac so double check, but as a wheat sensitive individual I had no problems with their gluten free food.

The Coast Yard at St Andrews Lodge

Rooms: Rooms are very clean with good fittings, bathroom is a bit small but did the job. I liked that the room opened onto the garden which a pleasant to sit out in.
Nearby activities: Nice walks to beach and parks.
Food and drinks: Breakfast was very nice, excellent selection, fresh and nutritious.
