Restaurants in Midhurst

Tilly's of Midhurst
Hill House, Rumbolds Hill, MidhurstCalled last week (7th Feb) with my daughter, sister and grandson. A high chair was provided straight away and the lovely lady took the pram away to give us room. The food as always was amazing, plentiful and such good value. Had no room for something sweet after lunch but we did purchase some sweet treats to take home. No visit to Midhurst is complete without a visit here.

Fratelli Italian Restaurant
4 West St, MidhurstRandomly came across this place on the drive down to our caravan with the kids and so glad we decided to stop, the food was lovely and not expensive, the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be suggesting stop here again on our was to Selsey.
Kid-friendliness: The staff made a massive effort to talk and joke with the kids.

The Country Inn
Severals Rd, Bepton, MidhurstTop coffee, locally roasted and extracted brilliantly... tough to justify stopping here as its only 10 minutes home on the bike at the end of a nice long ride... but difficult to pass without stopping.Friendly service, great little coffee shop.(Note - the old 1 and 2 star reviews are from 10/11 years ago, for the pub part which is currently closed for refurbishment - under new management - so irrelevant!)

The Three Horseshoes
Elsted, MidhurstWhat a unique and quaint English pub, the owners are lovely people with taste, and a love for chickens of which there are 10 or so just roaming free in the garden (the garden is clean and well maintained)
Everything about my trip was great and I really can't wait to visit in a more leisurely capacity as unfortunately I was just stopping by

The Royal Oak
Oaklands Ln, West Lavington, MidhurstAbsolutely fantastic pub. The first visit included my very elderly mother and immediately one of the staff rushed to get her a more suitable chair without even being asked. The food is excellent value and absolutely delicious. Service good also. Very, very impressed by this pub and highly recommend. May as well mention the setting is stunning too and there is a fantastic beer garden. Go!

Hong Kong Kitchen
14 North St, MidhurstI ordered this takeaway last night and absolutely loved it. I had the Kung Pao Chicken, which was a true standout. The chicken was tender, the vegetables were fresh, and the sauce had a rich, deep flavor that was simply irresistible. The food delivery was also really fast and in general 10/10 food experience

The Blue Bell
Bell Ln, Cocking, MidhurstWhat a great place for an overnight stay! We stayed here as a group during a trip on the South Downs Way. Delicious food, pleasant rooms with good sanitary facilities, hearty breakfast (if you like an English breakfast). Enjoyed the atmosphere in this evening in this privately owned village pub
of the local community.
Thank you for your hospitality!

Cadence Cycle Club Cocking
The Old Dairy, Hilltop, Cocking, MidhurstI think we've visited 5 out of 6 of their cafés, sometimes for coffee and cake mid ride or walk, other times toasties with my 80 year old mum. This morning had their amazing porridge before starting a couple of walking on the South Downs Way. Can't recommend them highly enough. Their business model (great food and drinks, but also building a community) will hopefully guarantee they're around for many more years to come. P.S. I also absolutely love their cycling jerseys

Faustinos Wine & Tapas Bar
2A North St, MidhurstWhat can I say about this little gem of a place. Slightly hidden down a little lane, but well worth a visit. We were greeted by Peter behind the bar with a friendly smile and very warm welcome. The drinks were amazing, their pitchers of Cherry Cola and Woo Woo are refreshing and delicious. The food is amazing, Patatas Bravas, Goats Cheese, Stuffed Mushroom, and Chicken Kebabs. All came out rather quickly and were cooked to perfection. Can also recommend their Beef burger and Chicken mil burger, it was juicy tender and delicious. If you are ever in the area, pop in and say hello. Plenty on the menu for Gluten Free and Vegetarians offerings also. Again thank you to the staff in the kitchen that night on the 28/07/24.

Midhurst Grill & Pizza
37 North St, MidhurstGood food. Easy to order online and collect. Sauce needs to be better. I had a lamb and chicken shish kebab with garlic mayo and chili sauce. Not much sauce and most was at the bottom soaked into the pitta.
