I ordered the fillet steak but I'm afraid that I got a sirloin instead of a fillet...Did they think I wouldn't know the difference? Steak was cooked medium rare as ordered and the sauce was lovely. My wife had a lovely seafood pizza which we both enjoyed - we share our food all the time to enhance the experience!

Creamed garlic mushroom starter, which we both had, was delightful and better than we had been expecting. My wife then had the Singapore Crab main which was out-of-this-world, where I had the battered Huss which was also exceptional and well worth waiting for. We had to wait a few days as the restaurant wasn't open until Wednesday. We were both disappointed with our deserts which were not as expected, too much cream in the tiramasu which was all we could taste in large globs and the brownie was cake-like and not the the normal soft brownie texture and had been over warmed. You can tell from this that we both share our food when we eat out and sometimes at home.

Our meals were off the specials board and thus we cannot grade them but our starter and mains were all five star!

Great biker friendly café, with views over the beach and port. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the fish finger sandwich is spot on. I visited regularly for bike nights, which are always a good night. Looking forward to my next visit.

Best pizza's I have eaten for a long time!

Ordered a pizza from the special board which was recommend to me by Carl the Pizzaiolo specialist here.

The pizza was sensational, bursting full of flavour and very filling . The hospitality when entering the restaurant from Gemma was warm and welcoming, staff were attentive and friendly and it really did make the whole experience very enjoyable.

I will definitely visit here again with friends and family.

I visited alone on this occasion but I would highly recommend this place for family and friends.

Vegetarian options: Can cater to needs.

Booked for evening meal with friends. Great service and wonderful food, reasonably priced. However, it was far too noisy for us as we couldn't hear each other speak! Would need to try and find a quieter time to re-visit.

Walkability: Near to the beach, so good for visitors to the area.

Food and drinks: Excellently presented and delicious. Not a vast menu but bar food offered as well.

Wow this was by far the best breakfast we've had in the local area! Both quality and quantity of the food was spot on. We enjoyed the signature eggs and the smoked salmon and avocado bagel - I'd also recommend the elderflower spritz drink! Alex should be super proud of his team and we will certainly be visiting again! Tom and Imi x

Came across this wonderful place on a visit to Littlehampton yesterday. Went in for a pint and came out an hour or so later after having a slap up Vegetarian Sunday lunch. Can't fault it, the lovely Jade was very welcoming, the atmosphere was jolly, great choice of liquid refreshment and after seeing summertime meal arrives we quickly booked a couple of vegetarian Sunday lunches. We weren't disappointed, beautifully cooked beef, roasted potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, a spinach and cheese parcel of loveliness, that was oozing flavour and a gravy boat . Superb and if like to congratulate the landlords on the most beautiful ladies restroom which was clean, well stocked and decorated to perfection.We will be back

I was looking for somewhere to book for the people who live in the care home I manage, to have christmas dinner. It had been a busy month previously, between one thing and another and in all honesty I didn't think we had left enough time to arrange anything. Thankfully after contacting the Oystercatcher, and speaking with Meg and Emily a christmas dinner for 20 odd people was arranged in under a week. The food and service was amazing, some of the people who live at the home required meals to meet dietary needs. nothing was too much trouble. We were given space to enjoy ourselves, at the same time it was quiet and secluded from the rest of the restaurant so we had privacy and the decor was cosy, festive and welcoming. Ladies, I can not thank you enough. I have never heard so much praise about a christmas meal from the residents and staff alike. Thank you for getting us into the Christmas spirit, we will be back very soon x
