Masala City

Had a lovely meal here on my birthday. The best Chicken tikka masala I've ever had and it's my favourite dinner. The naan was amazing. The staff where attentive and polite and even sang happy birthday with a lovely cake. Will definitely be returning thank you.

New Kingsham Fish & Chips

Really nice cod and chips. The large cod was a good size and perfectly cooked, the same as the portion of chips.
Everything is cooked to order so you know your getting fresh food.

The chippy keeps the cut up potato in a tall basket behind the counter on the floor, ON THE FLOOR??? it’s on a tray but this is still definitely unhygienic and in fact disgusting. Hopefully they can improve on this.

Another con is fact that they only accept cash…
There is a shop next door with a cash machine however there is a £1.50 charge. This not accepting card alone is enough to stop me using this place as my local take away, Perhaps they don’t want to pay an extortionate amount of tax so they don’t declare all the earning but this isn’t a reflection on prices, overall it was fairly expensive.
The food was really good and I would recommend it, I would even come again but only if for some reason I had cash I needed to use up.

The Spotted Cow

We had our works Xmas meal on 7 December and wow! The food was absolutely amazing!! So tasty lots of it . The staff went above and beyond. Thank you highly recommend to all .

The Lighthouse Fish & Chips

Delicious food, excellent service, generous portions

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a 2-3 inch step up into the shop. The door looks wide enough. There are three tables with chairs that could be moved to accommodate a wheelchair. The rest of the tables are fixed booths. The doors to the toilet seem to be a standard width, and there should be room for a wheelchair, but I don’t have one with me to check.

The Chantry

Incredible service: there was a very large group of us and the service was fab (esp Lauren and a young person with an undercut (don’t know their name)), they went above and beyond making sure we are all good. The food was probably some of the best food i’ve had in years and atmosphere and as great.

Dietary restrictions: I said I have a lemon allergy and they literally brought out seperate cutlery that they had made sure not to use any lemon based products on just for me: probably the most seriously my allergies have been taken and there was no faff made about it which was fab! We also asked for no sauce on the items which worked well for me due to my dietary requirements as they gave us all the sauce on the side!

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, disabled bathroom is very crowded with bins so limited transfer space but apart from that all very accessible and tables were at perfect hight for me to wheel straight under!

Thyme & Chillies Birdham

Wow! This is what I call real Indian food! It is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. We are visitors to this town, and it was worth the long travel. Every single dish tasted so rich and well made with diverse flavours. They made my mum's birthday extra special, and she really enjoyed her chocolate cake at the end. THANK YOU! The staff were so hospitable and welcoming. Before going, I tried book the table over the phone, but the connection was bad. The staff made sure to keep calling me back to book and secure our table, which was so nice of them as they are a very busy restaurant. Me family had a wonderful experience.

The Star & Garter

Arrived at lunchtime after getting soaked on a walk in the South Downs!
Landlord Jim was extremely hospitable and told us not to worry about the muddy boots etc!
The Guiness was fantastic and so was the food which included superb venison burgers. Will definitely visit again, thank you Jim and staff.

The Pass Street Food Cafe

It's always a delight to eat their food! Had there October special halloumi avocado lemon oil salad and spiced lamb served in a flat bread ? with extra chilli's. Was amazing ?

The pass street food cafe

Absolutely amazing place. We came down from Milton Keynes for a holiday and the food was just incredible. Not a long wait at all.

Portions are insane! And the quality is out of this world.

Only suggestion I would make is to have more drink options. Perhaps a soft drink machine you can refill or something options of juices

The Pond Barn

Great food and excellent service, menu not extensive but what is on there is fantastic and really good portions didn't have desert but can't wait to try the sticky toffee pudding my favourite

India Gate

Undoubtedly the best Indian cuisine in Chichester. My wife and I have eaten their several times and have always been delighted by the quality of food. Charming staff and they also supply an excellent takeaway service. If you're a curry freak give it a whirl you won't be disappointed.

Anglesey Arms

Stopped in for a roast on the off chance this afternoon, to make the most of a sunny Sunday. Restaurant, bar area and garden were rammed - a sign of doing something right. We were able to find a table outside after a short wait and ordered our food at the bar.
Bar staff were pleasant when ordering and overall the roasts were good. Generous portions, nicely cooked meat, tasty cauliflower cheese - but a table of 4 of us had all 3 meat offerings between us, and not one of them came with any of the advertised sauces (bread sauce for chicken, horseradish for beef, apple sauce for pork.) After having food dropped off at our table, the runners / servers were nowhere to be found, and we had to find our own cutlery/ napkins / condiments as no-one came back to check on us.
Good food, but definitely recommend booking and eating in the restaurant, hopefully the service experience is slightly better in there, than being left to fend for yourself elsewhere on the premises.

The Bell Inn

We booked The Bell inn for a pre-theatre Dinner and was delighted with the experience. I must firstly praise the welcome, the two ladies covering the arrivals and food service were so friendly, attentive and professional we felt at home straight away. The menu is fairly simple but very well thought out so all tastes covered. There is an art to getting this right and The Bell has it spot on. Not having so many options meant the food was prompt, well cooked, hot, plentiful and very tasty. Add to this their very fair pricing, we left having had our faith put back into a British pub meal out (which has been lacking recently). The pub is very well run and I wish them continued success, they deserve it.

Giggling Squid - Chichester

Again, a lovely meal, always friendly service and scrumptious food. Always like to try the specials or something new.
Only scored 3 for atmosphere as it was before 6 and was very quiet. A little background music could be nice.

The White Swan

Nipped in after a cricket match for some drinks..totally recommend but also make sure you eat here!
Scampi is to die for, homemade pizzas are incredible and even the sausage and chips is world class!

Trents

Went for Sunday lunch with two kids and a dog. The food was dry- especially the small tasting plates. Very reasonably priced and exceptional service from all the staff! Haven’t had such warmth and sincerity for a long time. Will definitely return!!

Pallant Cafe chichester

Had afternoon tea with my mum yesterday. The food and wine was absolutely divine . The service was excellent. It was a birthday gift from my husband.
Will definitely go back again and would definitely buy vouchers for a gift for someone special.

The Wilkes Head

A good old pub, proper food good selection of draft and a great atmosphere. The staff were great and the menu was what I would expect from from a top pub. We had sausage and mash and steak pie and mash massive portions and served up hot with a smile.

Cafe Paradiso - Chichester's Vegetarian Cafe

The coffee and cheese scone were very nice but rather spoilt by over exuberant noisy staff. Also a bit embarrassing with only one door between the toilet and where we were sitting.

The Old House at Home

Proper pub/restaurant. Might book a holiday nearby just to come back a few times. 6 beers and a few of those lager things. If you don't want flash and modern, then this is the place.

The Crown Inn

So we recently moved here. The meals were amazing! Compliments to the chef! Have never tasted better pork belly ribs!! Paula is a beautiful human! Mega evening.

Lifeboat Inn

They had beer, cider and water for the dog. If you like those things you'll love it.
Would highly recommend the crisps, they were golden wonder-full.

Took my son for he’s 14th birthday and couldn’t be more happier, my son is autistic and as adhd and likes to wear make up. All staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable, bearing in mind he had never visited before and is very unique He felt very comfortable and not out of place. The food was amazing and couldn’t fault any of it, my son even got a special bday desert and was so made up with it and seeing the joy on my sons face made me as a mum very happy And this is thanks to the staff at the earl of march. Would highly recommend The food is amazing and the staff are very welcoming The pub is a nice cosy warm atmosphere And as a beautiful fire which is perfect if you want to pop in for a quiet beverage.

KOKORO Chichester

Great place although it's really sad they've stopped doing the spicy tofu.Their tofu katsu curry is top notch, although this time the tofu wasn't as nice as it tasted undercooked and not as firm.However all other times it's been great.

A great find, tucked away but only 2 minutes from all the shops. Great cappuccino's, food and service, staff were lovely..Dog friendly, they totally spoilt Neo my Ridgeback with treats.Highly recommend.

Nando's Chichester

Great food as always but service here wasn't the best. 2 persons dining, I was half way through my meal before the other diner recieved theirs, not good people! Also 2 beers took way too long to get to us, I was quarter way through my main when they eventually hit the table! It wasn't even a busy night!

Parking: Car parks at Cattle Market and Little London within walking distance.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not easy, due to steps at main entrance, access has to be through side door, narrow pavement.

China Royal Restaurant

Very good service food was brought to our table quickly and when we had finished and were ready for our next course it was promptly served. Staff were friendly and attentive food was delicious. Would recommend 100%.

Probably the best Asian cuisine take away in the country, let alone Chichester.

Tried many different things on the menu multiple times and very consistent and delicious every time.

Boat House - Chichester Marina

I'm visiting from NZ and enjoyed a late lunch at the Boat House on 30/09/24.
Well presented dining area, clean and gracefully modern.
Lovely front of house staff.
There’s a fixed price menu as well as their main menu.
Although it's not perhaps usual, I was graciously enabled to choose 3 courses from the different menus.
The food was fresh and delicious. Service was lovely and the atmosphere quite chilled.
Wine list was good with a few Sussex wines to select as well.

Drifters - East Wittering

Clean quick and friendly service !! Great service!!! It was a Sunny warm day!! Beer was perfect temperature and super hoppy!!! Just the way I like it!!! Full bar and a couple beers on draft!!!’ Had an order of chips, hot and clean tasting , no after frying tastes that other places get with old oil …. You definitely need to just chillax here!!!

Lovely food great experience if I wanted to go to Chestergate just go to KFC get a quick bite and then go to Tempin or anything else and you can get great atmosphere and also it’s just brilliant service the downside is the pipes are dirty but it’s okay. They’re only pipes to get the water so if you wanna get quick bite to eat get KFC and then go anywhere you need to go in chichister gate

No.11 Chinese Kitchen

They're very confident with Gluten and either changing elements of the request or suggesting other options that are gluten free. First Chinese restaurant we've used since my wife was diagnosed coeliac. Really impressed with the staff and also with the food, though I probably ate too much as it was really good.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free, Coeliac, very accommodating and really knew their stuff. Will certainly go again.

H&M Coffee

I will often grab a coffee here before catching a train. Consistently good coffees, including the Turkish coffee.I've never had the sarnies but pastries are nice and warm if you get them in the morning.Staff are also quick, warm and welcoming.Thanks!Dietary restrictions: They offer milk alternatives.

Mr Toy's Flying Wok Noodle Bar (Chichester)

Got a matcha milk tea with tapioca and a passionfruit tea with lychee popping! Server was polite and friendly, the drinks were fresh and very delicious! Cheaper than other boba shops I’ve been to but the same great quality. Would recommend, thank you

Been to The Richmond in chichester today and had an great time. They had a band for the bank holiday. It was a great atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Great little pub in the outskirts next to the canel.

Excellent morning at spin & slide today. Patient, friendly, knowledgeable instructors. Our daughter only learnt to drive last year and this experience teaches valuable vehicle control whilst being excellent fun. Safe to say she thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much

The Cornish Bakery

The food!! Oh my goodness!! Absolutely incredible and I just can't get it out of my head! The cauliflower and bahji pasty we thought we'd give a go and it was creamy and delicious ? Like a homemade curry in a pasty. Then we tried this small meaty sausage roll, I'm not joking when I say this, it was the best sausage roll I've ever had, and I've tried alot of sausage rolls! Ok last was some pudding. I saw a cake in the window that looked yummy and the lady told me it was called Cornish pudding. My actual goodness, it's like a bread pudding, custard tard, a bit of choc a bit of currents got married to eachother and created an absolutely heavenly desert. Oh and the coffees a real nice blend too, a little fruity. I managed to get two more pasties before I headed home as I just had to go back. What an experience!! ???
