Stephenson Ave, WalsallVisited last Thursday for lunch. Arrived around 12.30. The restaurant was fairly quiet with a few tables of people around us. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. Ordered the ultimate mixed grill and the barbacoa burger which then comes with the salad bar starter. The salad was fresh as always and completely stocked. Always enjoy the salad starter from Harvester, great idea. We did have an issue with the main which arrived not hot but I must admit the restaurant immediately rectified and provided fresh new meals. The meals were of fantastic quality. All of the mixed grill meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly, no fatty cheap cuts and all tender and moist. The burger as all the harvester burgers are, are delicious, maybe on the pricey side but you are always guaranteed enjoyment. The restaurant even adjusted the bill for the food issue which wasn't expected but was a welcome end to a nice meal out

11 Vicarage Pl, WalsallThe menu is small, but each dish is crafted with great care. The presentation, décor, and staff are exceptional. I’ve been a regular at Five Rivers since 2014, and they even catered our wedding. Highly recommend.
The downside: the Glaab-Jaman Cinnamon Crème Brûlée, which was their secret weapon, has been taken off the menu. It really needs to make a comeback.
Vegetarian options: The Mali Kofta is sublime.

I have used curry houses in this area for the past 2 years and by far this is the best by a mile , i will go in next time to eat as i would say it would be nicer than a takeaway the staff young lad was very professional i will use this restaurant from now on i would highly recommend it ?

We had starters obviously freshly cooked & hot , and great tasting as usual
We then had a fairly long wait for our mains ( roast chicken sunday lunch & steak & ale pie meal) having to ask twice for meals
When they arrived all was hot & fresh and they were tasty as usual

The food was very good indeed. The long wait wasn't. We asked for coke to drink and were told that they had a cola alternative. It was horrible. I wouldn't recommend it.
So, great food, slow service and don't have the cola alternative.

The batter on the fish wasn’t seasoned much so didn’t enjoy the taste.The chicken donner was nice however the donner meat didnt have much flavour, it got cold pretty quick. Highly recommend, options for everyone including vegetarian/vegan options, had myself the tawa vegetable with the addition of Quorn which they happily added. Partner had a tawa sag aloo dhalwalla which was lovely. I haven't had the meat dishes but you won't be disappointed, if you need Indian this is the best place to go glad we chose this Indian restaurant as this is a gem. Staff are incredibly friendly too.
Vegetarian options: Tawa vegetable with the ability to change heat and add anything you like include Quorn which as a vegetarian is a great addition you don't see in most places.

We placed the order directly on their website and was given an estimated arrival time of 1 hour and 15 minutes which to be honest at first I was not happy about but I figured they must cook the food made to order and I am willing to wait for fresh food. Thankfully though it arrived before the estimated time so we were grateful for that. The food itself was very good. All containers were stuffed and the food definitely tasted fresh. We will happily be return customers. Thank you to all working this evening who helped provide us with our delicious dinner. I included a photo of some of my noodles since we started eating before I thought to take photos lol.

Compared to other decor suppliers, we thought that Bal was rational & reasonable when it came to costing & the decor pieces needed to fill the space, where others would try to oversell.A few weeks before the wedding we finalised the look we were after - the team were able to slightly change the flower colour scheme to what we wanted and it looked perfect on the day - we couldn’t be happier with how the marquee at Hilton Hall was decorated.Massive thanks to Bal & the team!

There is plenty of meat in the kebab box, and the wraps are really good. The wings were very tasty, and the milkshakes were a nice sweet treat . They've got really reasonable prices too.
The only issue was the nachos. They must've run out of jalapeños, but I was not expecting there to be chips, which was a nice surprise, although I was looking forward to classic nachos.
Despite this, I can't fault them. Plenty of tasty food is all anyone asks for.

We had starters obviously freshly cooked & hot , and great tasting as usual
We then had a fairly long wait for our mains ( roast chicken sunday lunch & steak & ale pie meal) having to ask twice for meals
When they arrived all was hot & fresh and they were tasty as usual

The food was very good indeed. The long wait wasn't. We asked for coke to drink and were told that they had a cola alternative. It was horrible. I wouldn't recommend it.
So, great food, slow service and don't have the cola alternative.

It would be nice if they cooked the chips last of all so they are fresh and ready to go or package them differently so they don't get delivered dried out. I have the chips to dip into my curry but on their own not great. Also food took 1hr and 20mins last time which is ridiculous. Meat in curry always nice other than our last order where the chicken was overcooked and the lamb was overcooked and very fatty but hope this is a one off. Overall nice food but please improve your chips.

Highly recommend, options for everyone including vegetarian/vegan options, had myself the tawa vegetable with the addition of Quorn which they happily added. Partner had a tawa sag aloo dhalwalla which was lovely. I haven't had the meat dishes but you won't be disappointed, if you need Indian this is the best place to go glad we chose this Indian restaurant as this is a gem. Staff are incredibly friendly too.
Vegetarian options: Tawa vegetable with the ability to change heat and add anything you like include Quorn which as a vegetarian is a great addition you don't see in most places.

28A Allens Ln, WalsallWe had a great experience, I ordered on arrival and was met with a great reception from the man on the desk, after ordering was told it'd be ready in 15mins or so, (there's a convenience store next door to pick up some drinks etc) the food was ready quickly and was handed over with a smile. FYI: Hings Welcome is cash only which is no problem as there's a free cash withdrawal machine (Royal Mail) on Pelsall high street over the common.
The food matched the service! We ordered special chow mein, spare ribs with lemon, sweet and sour chicken balls (but with curry sauce) and chips. It was all incredible, the flavours were great and the portions were generous, we're looking forward to sampling the rest of their menu next time.
Oh! Reasonably priced and free prawn crackers!
