Decided to treat ourselves here for our anniversary and Cheals definitely didnt disappoint! From the pleasant decor and attentive service to the incredible food. We were excited when we found out they catered for a halal menu (which you have to enquire about 48hrs in advance).
We got served lamb rack for our mains, which was cooked to perfection. We both thoroughly enjoyed the sourdough bread and rosemary buns with butter which were melt in your mouth, divine? Hats off to the chef!
We finished off with some lovely desserts and a little chocolatey surprise ?

Definitely would like to try the tasting menu next time!

O'Neill's Solihull

Covid 19 ***
Felt very safe during my visit to O'Neill's. Bar area clear of people and tidy. Sitting area people were socially distanving, lay out good. Drinks reasonable.
2024 Autumn O'Neills has become one of my locals, usually somewhere to sit, bar service great, reasonably priced and friendly staff.

The lloyds Indian Restaurant

Whilst visiting friends made an impromptu visit with the wife, what a gem this place is, great service, fantastic decor and atmosphere and exquisite food. As an Asian myself it’s very rare that I find an Indian restaurant that produces food of this quality and just like home made. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Yakinori - Solihull

Excellent table service, and the manager was very helpful. The Japanese curry dish was very tasty with some Indian food inspired flavours that I quite like. I wish there were more special Indian cuisine out there.

Bread Collection

This was a really great place, my Catalan chicken broth was outstanding and the flavour really popped!We also got a Croc monsieur and it was great,the dressing on the salad is AMAZING ?!2 potato and leek soups went down excellent, and the waiters were really polite and kind,would recommend ?!!

Smoke At Hampton Manor

Amazing meal last night. Lovely, relaxed evening with friendly, professional staff especially Harry who was very attentive and definitely knows his wines

Stayed at Hampton Manor overnight. Couldn't fault anything from the moment we arrived to when we left

The Boot Inn

Visited for Sunday lunch. Was very impressed with the service. The Pork was delicious and my wife had the beef which she loved. The desserts were excellent too. The only downside was that we were hurried into finishing our meal because the table was booked, but despite this I would recommend this inn.

The Red Lion

the politeness of the staff We had Bronwen looking after us, She was 100% excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The Sunday Lunch {we had the lamb + vegetarian for our son} was excellent. A lovely pudding as well. We would recommend this establishment without any hesitation Steve Taylor

I love the delicious Indian cuisine they offer. I really enjoy Indian food, and the staffs are very friendly and helpful it could be a fantastic place to try out!

Taste Collective

Food options are fabulous, I knocked a star off for uncomfortable seating but we come here often as we like different things so one can have a shawarma and another can can the awesome cheesy pasty. Good for a meal after a day of shopping but I do wish they had better seats and tables x

We ordered an extra large takeaway while staying in the area. We arrived early to collect, the staff were so friendly and even carried the box to the car for us! Best curry I have had in a LONG time

we ordered food before hand as there was 12 adults and 3 children . definitely go again I had fish and chips fish was huge thought I had half a whale on the plate

The Railway Inn

Food here is top quality, with really friendly staff who out of their way to make the occasion special. We went on a Saturday evening and had the swordfish, chicken pie and the faggots. We all said how amazing the food was. You will need to reserve a table as it is always full and as the restaurant is only small they have limited space. Would highly recommend.

Slug & Lettuce - Solihull

Went in a few days ago, Lovely refurb. Looks really good, well made drinks, and lovely service, We had a lovely conversation with one of the workers named Ash, he was really chatty and seemed to be constantly working hard and made the whole atmosphere a lot better for us.

Côte Solihull

We had breakfast there, Eg Benedikt, which was very good. Also has great other dishes. Eg B. Coffee of your choice, freshly squeezed juice and 1 glass of sparkling wine 24.-- pounds absolutely

The Delhi

I absolutely love “The Delhi”! The Chicken Tikka Rice here is simply amazing – perfectly cooked, flavorful, and just the right portion. The staff and the manager are always welcoming, attentive, and provide excellent service every time I visit. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Indian cuisine with a warm and friendly atmosphere!

Toby Carvery Knowle

I recently visited Toby Carvery in Knowle, and it was such a great experience! The staff were really friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. The carvery was delicious – the meat was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were fresh and tasty. There were plenty of sides and gravies to choose from too, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was really cozy, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. I'll definitely be back soon – highly recommend it!

Visited here for an unplanned dinner and the staff were very accommodating. Service was pleasant and friendly. Food was nice. Naans seemed a little dry and lukewarm.
Staff seemed in a rush to send the mains in before we had finished the mains. Atmosphere would have been better with background music.
Overall decent enough but room for improvement.

Nice local pub in convenient location within Solihull town centre! Certainly not wetherspoons prices tho a pint and wine £9 (still not bad tho)
Nice seats outside where you can just watch the world go by and good choice of lagers and ales

A wonderful afternoon of champagne tasting. Gary is super helpful and knowledgeable about the wines and champagnes. Absolutely wonderful, we will be back to discover the latest 32 wines on tap in the bar area! A lovely nibbles menu too to accompany it.

Staff were lovely, I was served by Tom who talked me through the different menu options and provided me with options suited to my vegetarian requirements, service was efficient and would recommend coming here! Staff even put little cute hats on every table

Five Guys Solihull

Soulless cavernous space which tries to drown the echoing silence with piped music - loud music doesn't make an atmosphere!! Try a smaller venue. Definitely overpriced at almost £20 for burger, fries and drink, no matter how unique you think cooking spuds in peanut oil is.

This is my first time sipping a Costa coffee at a cafe back in 2021. That time in Malaysia just has a Costa coffee machine at petrol pumps which is the taste was not very nice. But was different taste when I sip the coffee at Costa Coffee Cafe..

Shirley Spice

Ordered Takeaway which I wasn't sure they did.Have been into the restaurant before a few times and always found it enjoyable, anyway loved the fact I was greeted with a handshake at my front door, poppadoms really fresh and food lovely, will definitely be using them as my go to Indian now for sure.

Knowle Fish Bar

Knowle fish barnis the best as online it said no more doner kebab so I ordered slightly different this time and they cane to me even though they was really busy and asked me what I ment on my order and they did what I usually had no problem they are the best

The customer service was excellent and the service too, we were served by Safa and she was just fantastic.The manager was very polite and helpful too. We didn’t wait long at all for our food to be served.

Zizzi - Solihull

Excellent all round service from all the members of staff on duty (29.12.24) - nothing was too much for them. The food was beautifully cooked and presented; that plus the pleasant ambiance, made it to be an enjoyable visit.

Starbucks Coffee

Memorable experience (21-Dec-24), this shop has been at this location for over a decade, got me nostalgic and had me reminiscing on my visit to the area. Glad I went here after visiting the Christmas market. The lady behind the counter very kindly gave my kids a free chocolate coin each, which was unexpected and generous. The drinks were perfectly crafted, and the staff were all smiles and friendly. Atmosphere in the shop was warm and welcoming. Will always go here whenever I’m in the area, plus Touchwood is nice and cosy. Not overpriced (£3.25 for a Tall latte) it’s fair compared to other coffee shops in the area (Cafe Nero, Costa, and Pret), if you want a cheap coffee while out then make it at home and take it out with you in a flask or go to McDonalds for a vending machine coffee which will set you back £2.19.

Very busy. Was waiting a bit for order. Lot of children in as end of school. Again children making mess but staff cleaning up. Lots of room.

Parking: Multi floor parking . Plenty of room

Kid-friendliness: Can sit on high stools or seats. Corner seating. Long tables if in a group.

Espresso (Dorridge Train Station Cafe)

I love this place. The pastries are the best as is the coffee. Perfect for a quick visit before train or even when you're not catching a train! Dog friendly too.

Shelly Farm Fryer

a hidden little gem. always a nice welcome and service with a smile. i normally have sausage and chips which are delicious but last night i tried their cod, chips and curry sauce. everything was piping hot (so much so, i burnt my mouth but thats my fault) very generous portion of chips, all lovely golden colour, the fish was lovely and covered in the tasty curry sauce, i ate the lot.

Papa Johns Pizza

The works pizza without olives and onions with added sweetcorn was amazing! Loved every bite. The warm cookie pizza was nice and had the right amount of cinnamon on it or whatever sweetener they use ? Buffalo hot wings were scrumptious too

Lincoln Farm Truck Stop

This car park is one of my favorites in England. Payment SNAP, VISA, MASTERCARD, CASH. There is a restaurant next to the parking lot, but they open at odd hours. If it is open, I recommend visiting it, good food at relatively low prices.

The White Swan - JD Wetherspoon

I had early breakfast before work yesterday, the staff worked fast which I like it. It was clean ( my table and chair )which I like that too. I dislike seeing my table … sticky + have a sticky menu. ^________^ well done. ( guess it is every one s effort. Please keep it up by using the D10 detergent from time to time.

Domino's Pizza - Birmingham - Sheldon

Excellent! My pizza always arrives quickly and hot. Order is always accurate and the delivery drivers are very polite and friendly. Been ordering around 2-3 times a month for around a year and never had any issues.
