The Woodman's Rest
Union Rd, Shirley, SolihullI went with a friend for lunch. The menu offered a good range of reasonably priced dishes. I found my meal to be very tasty and well presented. I particularly enjoyed my Eaton Mess dessert.
There was also a good range of beers available on tap
The staff were very friendly and helpful which helped create a relaxing atmosphere.
Will certainly make a return visit.

Stratford Road Shirley, Shirley, SolihullAll i can say is after a very long shop around shirley high street is we popped into here instead of weatherspoons and it was a better experience the food was cooked perfectly and the waitresses and bar staff were amaizing will deffo return For your info i had a surf and turf and the mrs had a clucker burger meal was well worth the money ❤️

22 Farmhouse Way, Shirley, SolihullThey have multiple rooms, the main restaurant is quite limited, and bookings are highly recommended it.
There is plenty of parking across the street.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Foodwise, this is a pub, not a fancy restaurant. Some dishes are ok, some dishes are good. The pizza was quite interesting and I recommend you try it.
The burger was quite dry, the meat was a bit burned and dry, having a bit of burnt bitter taste, but overall ok. I recommend you to tell them to be careful not to burn it.
Beautiful design, nice atmosphere.
I recommend it.

Big windows, good view to look outside.
The suggestion for them is : try to have enough manpower during busy period. Very often, rubbish is on the floor, tables are unclean, plates , mugs .....are left to be collected. ^______*
