Great place to go for a beer garden and kids play area outside. You can chill on one of. The outside tables and just let your kids play around a nice play area and great grassy field. Then head inside for a nice ambience and good pub food.

Great experience as we had dined at the Red lion for years with parents that lived in Meriden.We’d often go for food at the Red Lion .But it had gone down so for a few years we hadn’t been.But this weekend nine of us plus grandchildren went and the food was delicious and great portions in fact big portions.The waitresses were great food was brought when we wanted and all in good times .We Will from now on will be back as our grandchildren loved their food and of course the...read full review

First time coming to the red lion after my mother had a good meal the other week and it lived up to the mark, arrived around 2 o'clock in the afternoon and it was fully booked but the waitress managed to find us a table, the food was all fresh and cooked to a really good standard will be returning in the future months

Dietary restrictions: The other half is dairy free and they where checked which meals was fine to eat
