Unit 99B Merry Hill, Brierley HillReally enjoyed our time here. The staff a very friendly and efficient. The food is well labelled for dietary needs and it tastes fresh. They are on their game with keeping the tables clean and free of used plates. My only improvement would be the bar area. It's very small for the amount of people the venue seats. But they still get through the queue quickly.
Great value for money. Would advise booking as they get really busy.

As I received my delivery I dropped the pizza box upside down on the floor when I opened the box it was fine so carried on and eat it, but half way through the restaurant called me to ask if it was OK and if I wanted another to replace it and I thought that was very kind of them as it was my fault I dropped it, hence the great reveiw as this shows they care and also the pizzas from here are always really nice and delivered quick.

Not the biggest selection and the room need some modernising ( but he s only been open 6 weeks). You have to try this food people! Even my cat was licking the bowl when I brought the left overs home 11/ 10 for food . Can't wait to go back! Yum!

The Vine Inn Bathams
10 Delph Rd., Brierley HillThe Vine Inn also known as "The Bull and Bladder" the Batham's Brewery is in The Delph in Brierley Hiĺ, not far from the Merry Hill Shopping Centre. There is ample free car parking opposite the Vine on the other side of the road. This proper Black Country boozer is like stepping back into the early 20th century with dark wooden, old fashioned fittings and the bar and lounge off a central corridor and a large outdoor seating/smoking area at the back. The clientele is older men in cloth caps enjoying their pints of Batham's bitter (the pub's signature drink, brewed on site). I prefer the sweeter Batham's mild. A pint of Batham's mild and a half of cider was less than a fiver....great value. Onto the food which for me is the Vine's crowning glory. The Vine only serves food between noon and 2pm on weekdays and no food is served in the evenings, mind you there are tens of cobs and rolls in a cabinet in the bar for those who need some food to soak up the beer in the afternoon and evening. The food itself is ordered at the kitchen entrance where there's a display of the pies made with beef and Batham's gravy in a tin foil tray. There's also a pork or steak sandwich and a HUGE Ploughman's lunch for £4.50. The pies are £5 and the sandwiches £3.50. You pay for your food at the kitchen entrance and are given a numbered ticket. You sit down either in the bar, lounge or outdoor area telling the waiting staff whereabout you are sitting. We both had the big Ploughman's lunch for £4.50 which comprised 2 slices of either granary or white crusty bread, a great hunk of mature cheddar cheese, a large piece of boiled ham (vegetarians can ask not to have this), lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, silverskin pickled onions, beetroot and Spanish onion. One slight quibble they forgot my Branston pickle! Friends have had the pies which come with fat chips and mushy peas and the pork sandwich both of which they said were excellent. I have had 2 Ploughman's at the Vine now and must say it's THE BEST Ploughman's I've ever had!

With a separate lounge and bar - The bar is dog friendly.
Nestled in the scenic saltwells woods, definitely worth a visit, especially after a walk around the nature reserve or simply visiting for a nice meal.

The owners Julie and Andrew were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble, felt right at home, even in our muddy wellies and walking gear!

A first rate selection of wine, beer, lager, cider, soft drinks and hot drinks.
This is a relatively small Wetherspoon. It it well presented, clean and tidy. The toilets are clean.
There is also an outdoor seating area.
This Wetherspoon is well worth a visit when visiting the Black Country for a bite to eat and a drink at a very reasonable price.
Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from an hour that they are opened.

Moor St, Brierley HillThe premises are clean and tidy, there is a good display of what's on the menu with prices and a single chair for customers to sit on. I myself ordered fish and chips twice , £18,00 but i did get two meals out of it . Couldn't Finnish it in the first sitting, so Finnish it off the next day ?. The chips was brilliant moist and not dryed out, like some establishment's. And they put on lots of salt and vinegar so remember to say stop ! . Over all a good establishment too go to if you don't want to cook. If you're walking from the cone chimney area it's 25 minutes walk both ways .hence your chips might be cold depending on the weather. So if you can use the car, your chips will be still nice and hot ?? .
