Think about it......£30 for a top chef to cook you starter, main and desert, it's a no-brainer when comparing that to average rubbish pub grub out the freezer. All fresh, big portions, top level service and presentation. Now Grey Lady gone these guys are number 1 imo.

We wanted something a bit different to the norm and Anthony’s were able to create a personalised menu to fit all of our requirements and work to our budget. We had a Greek Mezze themed wedding breakfast and it was out of this world. Absolutely everyone commented that the food was amazing! Anthony’s are way more than just a catering team - they go above and beyond to work with the venue, venue stylists and guests to create a brilliant experience for all. They are also extremely good at catering for particular dietary requirements and make sure to provide a tasty menu no matter what the dietary requirement. Bosworth Rd, Congerstone, NuneatonHorse and Jockey never dissapoints, we are regulars and they never have gone wrong. Servers were friendly, quick and attentive, wasn't hard to get hold of them if you needed a drink top up. Food was perfect (as always) their current pistachio créme brullee is incredible, very light but utterly delicious. Everyone was so happy with their meals. I love going here also because the ambience is so calm and cosy. The music isn't loud or in your face, the lightings really soft and it truly feels like if you sat on a nearby chair by the fire for an after dinner nap, nobody would mind or wake you up save to ask if you needed a blanket! Will be back, and thanks for a perfect evening.

The Anchor Inn Hartshill
Mancetter Rd, Hartshill, NuneatonWent to there for a meal for my sons birthday. Everyone was very welcoming, the food was perfect - hot, tasty, fresh & well cooked, and the atmosphere was lovely. Most importantly they not only allow dogs but also made a big fuss of my sons dog. We will definitely be going again next time we go to visit my son!!

Unfortunately, the last two orders were not very good. The products are no longer fresh and have no taste, the potatoes were cold and dry, the pickles are not what they used to be. I recommend changing products as you will lose more customers.

It is advisable to make reservations in advance as walk-ins may not always be accommodated. It doesn't sound like a hospital coronary ward like McDonalds does with all its beeping timers. (Oh, the irony). I've never had a bad meal from here, maybe a little too spicy, but if you're not into spicy then opt for the milder options and they are still full of flavour, without the burn.

The food always arrive early, it's too hot to serve most times and the flavours, my God the flavours, are why I only use these people.

Below the main hall, there is also a pub which looked great. I only stepped in but it appeared bustling, clean and with lots of alternative folk of various ages. There was also another live band playing in this pub area; they sounded professional, playing 80s rock.
Only downside might be parking. There are a number of public car parks fairly close by though.

2 Heath End Rd, NuneatonMy partner and I loved this place. The friendly bar staff moved quickly despite it being busy. It definitely feels family owned. We ordered something exotic foods full stop who would have known we could have had zebra, ostrich, kangaroo, and crocodile in Nuneaton?! Although it took some time for the food to come out, it was super tasty. I would definitely recommend the loaded chips with crab; they were so yummy!
The drinks are not to be sniffed at either full stop my partner enjoy the Tiger beer and I had several gin and tonics. I think the mince pie gin is my new favorite.
We intend to come back and try some more of the exotic foods and possibly a fish or steak night.
Parking: Parking is free but you definitely need to find a good space. Otherwise find somewhere in walking distance because it's an absolute pain. It's a very small car park so be warned.

Food was perfect (as always) their current pistachio créme brullee is incredible, very light but utterly delicious. Everyone was so happy with their meals. I love going here also because the ambience is so calm and cosy. The music isn't loud or in your face, the lightings really soft and it truly feels like if you sat on a nearby chair by the fire for an after dinner nap, nobody would mind or wake you up save to ask if you needed a blanket! Will be back, and thanks for a perfect evening.

The Anchor Inn Hartshill
Mancetter Rd, Hartshill, NuneatonWent to there for a meal for my sons birthday. Everyone was very welcoming, the food was perfect - hot, tasty, fresh & well cooked, and the atmosphere was lovely. Most importantly they not only allow dogs but also made a big fuss of my sons dog. We will definitely be going again next time we go to visit my son!!

Unfortunately, the last two orders were not very good. The products are no longer fresh and have no taste, the potatoes were cold and dry, the pickles are not what they used to be. I recommend changing products as you will lose more customers.

Parking: We got there quite late into the evening, and as designated driver, I DID get a space right outside, but I can't guarantee that it was purely luck on the day ? Traffic didn't SEEM too congested though and there were plenty of taxis available ?

The bar area is just jam-packed with music memorabilia!
Great selection at the bar and a lovely atmosphere.
Onto the gig upstairs, wow, what a brilliant venue, the sound was superb! ?
Big shout out to the owner and staff for creating such an amazing place.
Every single person, staff, and punters were all so friendly.
