The Golden Cross
Wixford Rd, Ardens Grafton, AlcesterCame for a booked table for 4, staff pleasantly greeted us at the door and showed us to the table, as we were two adults and two children, the staff were more than accommodating for the kids request of a starter even though it wasn't on the menu. Food came out in a nice timely manner and in my opinion was some of the tastiest food I've eaten. It looked amazing, and tasted even better. Presentation was second to none. Will definitely be returning and definitely recommending. Even planning to hold an occasion and hiring the room/pub out.

The Bridge
55 High St, Bidford-on-Avon, AlcesterWonderful evening meal sat outside on terrace overlooking the river. Not the cheapest restaurant in the area, but worth paying a little more as food was superb, service was attentive (without interrupting our conversation) and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere; we ate later in the evening and it was fairly quiet (& child-free!).

80 High St, Bidford-on-Avon, AlcesterThe staff is so welcoming and friendly. Alan (the owner) is great. The food is really nice. Would suggest eating in as the food is best served fresh. However, sometimes portions can be a bit small. Nonetheless, highly recommended.

Thai Thai @ Three Horseshoes
Wixford, AlcesterLast minute booking for my daughter and I to have a carvery on Sunday. Absolutely fantastic meal. We were seated straight away, such friendly and efficient staff and the carvery was super yummy. Will definitely be returning.

Osco's At Blenheim Cafe
7 Stratford Rd, Bidford-on-Avon, AlcesterWe had a lovely breakfast at Osco’s this week. All the food we we were served, full English, bacon sandwiches etc. was very tasty and great quality. We were made very welcome and really enjoyed our visit.
Kid-friendliness: We took out two grandchildren and both were made to feel welcome. Great recommendation with pancakes syrup and cream which went down a treat!

Bulls Head
36 High St, Bidford-on-Avon, AlcesterHaving recently moved to Bidford-on-Avon I was very happy to find The Bulls Hesd a real pub . I was made to feel welcome by everyone there .A gastro pub it is not (thank goodness) it is a very friendly pub a proper old school boozer. Having spent most of my working life in the licensed trade it so nice to find a somewhere like this on my doorstep. I recommend the Sunday roast the best value for money I have found in the area

The Frog
65 High St, Bidford-on-Avon, AlcesterScenic little pub on the Avon. Good menu, good beers, pleasant staff. Very scenic at sunset with a very high river level. A couple of gripes; visiting for an early Friday dinner, too many menu items were not available, and the steak and ale pie I chose as a substitute had a very poor quality filling, no decent chunks of beef at all. Couldn't decide if it was bought or home made.
