Second visit for us and yet again the food and service were superb. We went for Sunday lunch this time and we weren't disappointed. As it was close to Christmas we both had Turkey and all the trimmings and the mulled wine trifle, both very much recommended. For starters I had the duck parfait which was amazing and hubby had the leek and potato soup which he enjoyed. We will definitely make this a regular visit.

Family of 18 had a table booked here last night for a 30th birthday. Absolutely amazing service, the bar staff were fab, very smiley and very chatty which is always a bonus, the waiting on staff were equally as good, very polite and worked very hard. The food was exceptional couldn't fault anything, everyone thoroughly enjoyed there meal and time here. Well done to the management team. Would highly recommend! X

Couldn't use the QR code to order because you have to order at the bar to use the discount code sent by email..
Seems to me so many staff but little attention to service or guests..
Never asked if everything was ok or if we needed any help at all..
In fact my daughter asked where the baby changing room was and the young man just said i don't know and walked off..
Still don't know if there is one available or not...
Enjoyed the food.. but service and attention was seriously lacking unfortunately..

Recently moved to area and the neighbours suggested this chippy. Started going on a Monday and it’s really fresh and tasty. So far I’ve tried the fish & chips and a few of the burgers. All to a really high standard.

We love kervans food it always tastes amazing!!But tonight they really impressed me... we orderd a delivery and when it arrives my 3 year old little girl loves to go to the door an collect the it with her daddy. However, this time it was too heavy for her to carry and she had a melt down .Literally a minute after closing the door the delivery driver was knocking with a fruit shoot for her as she was so upset.He didn't have to do this but thank you so much for doing it.Great food, great people!!

Came down from Stoke to see the family and got a takeaway from here for tea. Food was lovely, generous portion sizes served with a smile. I remember eating from here when they had the little one on the corner down the road. Food was beautiful, the family sharing boxes were mega. Really good value all around for all of the food we had. We have just returned from staying at the Trotting Mare caravan park for a few days and visited the Inn for a few meals and drinks. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very enjoyable and tasty and well priced. I found the staff to be very friendly, welcoming and thoughtful , it was a wet and cold day and the member of staff that seated us was able to put us next to a fire and he put it on for me which was lovely and very much appreciated, other members of staff were very attentive also and I found my food to be cooked very well and all meals very tasty and enjoyable we were all very full and satisfied when we had finished and all very reasonably priced also. Would definitely come again and would recommen to friends and family.

Very nice meal, priced around norm for an Indian restaurant in UK.
Good service too from attentive waiters.
Quite busy on a Friday evening but we booked early as they were full by 8pm.
We were staying at Lady Margaret's Park Caravan site which was around a half mile walk so just right to walk off a few of the calories our mixed Biryani had added.

Parking: There is no parking anywhere near restaurant but we drove down a side street and parked on road side free, then walked 300 yards back.

Thankfully, I found this Shell garage open during Xmas and was greeted by young lad Ridwan, who went above and beyond to help me out. Despite forgetting my bank card in car, this lad showed incredible kindness and understanding. He trusted my situation and advised me to come back after fixing my car. This level of empathy and customer service is truly commendable. I highly recommend the Shell garage, and especially, for their exceptional care and support. Life saver ❤️

Nice and bright pub with a good selection of food and drinks. It was pretty full as we arrived but we'd booked a table and it was a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very prompt with drinks and food orders and so friendly.

We had the pulled chicken, halloumi and garlic bread for starters which were all delicious but particularly the pulled chicken which was fried and nice and crispy.

I had the bacon and cheese burger for a main and it was the best burger I've ever had! Just perfect.

We perused the desserts through the fun little counter and took away the biscoff lotus cheesecake and the pistachio cake which were fresh and delicious.

I'd happily go back next time I'm in the area.

This Kebab shop is the heart of Cefn Mawr!
The food is really good, they do donner meat to perfection, and the chips are perfect.

Located at the high street so it's not far from a pub and other shops.
Atmosphere is pretty nice as they have a TV you can watch while you wait for your food.

I think walking up that hill can be a little struggling especially for the disabled because it's located on top of the high street hill.

But apart from that, great kebab shop!

The evening went perfect from beginning to end. All the staff on the night were amazing and nothing was too much to ask. Highly recommend for a private function. There are a lot of places for good food. Especially with franchises, you expect a certain quality. But it's the service that turns your night out into a dining experience and justifies leaving the comfort of your home. Tonight, this restaurant proved that they understand that.

This place is a little tucked away but well worth going to if you are heading to the racecourse ground or just visiting Wrexham. It has indoor and outdoor seating showing live sports. The staff were very friendly and more than willing to be helpful.There wasn’t a food offering per say other than baps on the bar, however there was a wide variety for both vegetarians and pescatarians as well as omnivores.Prices are more than reasonable and there is parking opportunities opposite.

They squeezed us in with not much notice. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had the beef and lamb roast dinners and THEY....WERE....DELICIOUS!! I asked for extra gravy with my perfectly cooked lamb shank, as it was the best I've ever had. Thanks to both the lovely staff working that day and for introducing the kids to Trixie the cat! Think we have found our new Sunday local, we will be back!

Had a fantastic Zing Burger, didn't know such culinary delights existed!! Tasty and filled the spot, more chippys should serve food like this. Arrived at 7.30pm and there was a really nice and funny guy there, James or Jim or something, I'll find out next time when I try the Texas burger!! Great place, highly

Absolutely the best fish and chips in this area.... and that comes from a Grimsby gal who was raised on the freshest, finest fish in the world!!! The staff are amazing, the food is hot, freshly cooked and tons of it. Absolute value for money. We make sure we go at least once a week taking the trip from Llangollen to Johnstown as there is nowhere nearer that's better. We are 'hooked' (pardon the pun) and will be coming tonight for our tea! Love you guys xxx

What a gem! Pleasant staff, unbelievably hot and nicely cooked food at a very reasonable price, all proceeds go to the hospice which is always a nice bonus!
Coffee was really good and not bitter, absolutely no complaints about this place and would gladly come back!

Atmosphere was grand too, nice and quiet, nobody was shouting.

By far the best thing we did in all of 2023 traveling 4560 miles just to hand out with the people who show the world what loyalty and pride truly is. We had the most delicious sandwiches, drank very good beer, and made friends for life. Thanks Nicky for the special brick! We feel part of the family now. Can't wait to go back! The Parkers

Ordered 2 breakfasts today and couldn't fault at all! Quality ingredients and even had options for GF too! I had GF toast and scrambled eggs and my partner had the full English. Super affordable too and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options with a full English on offer as well as GF bread for toast!
There was also Vegan options for breakfast.

Love this place, I've been quite a few times in the past and i think the food is always great, just like home cooked with a great selection of really good quality meats, the staff are really helpful and there are traditional ales behind the bar, (not sure how often they change there guest ales), they have an xmas menu out at the moment so I may be making another visit ?

Stumbled in on a Sunday after a lovely walk with the family. Was very welcomed and the pub is dog friendly. Ordered 4 Sunday dinners beef and pork was the options. Food was amazing hot plates hot food the beef was served pink and to perfect with carrots, peas, roast potatoes,carrot and sweed mash,stuffing and topped with a giant Yorkshire pudding. The pork was lovely and had the crackling served along side it. All in all was a fantastic finish to a lovely day.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming and has a pool table
