Considering the Road house isn’t that far from my home, for some reason we never considered it. I follow you on Instagram and was in awe of your Sunday Lunches and Lunchtime meals and yet we never got around to visiting. Well it was my birthday last week and so my mother and I decided it was the perfect excuse to have some nice food. I was a little skeptical because I was under the impression that the Roadhouse was expensive high quality food that was a little too posh for me and my two toddlers to come and destroy. It’s hard to find anywhere homely to enjoy a meal where they aren’t a disruption. Well we went regardless and were instantly welcomed by a warm and vibrant atmosphere. A lovely woman (Young, dark brown hair, I’m so sorry I forgot her name but I told her I was leaving a review so please be acknowledged if you remember me). Instantly we were seated in a secluded conservatory where there were toys and play things for my kids(huge relief). Full table service, great deals on the food and she even helped to make the final decision on two meals I really fancied. Me and my mother had the Beef Bourguignon. It was incredible. Tender and fresh, in fact all the meals coming out looked very homemade and delicious. The price was reasonable as well, you’d pay the same for basic pub grub but this was far more flavourful and with fresh ingredients, even with the same items on the menu. The desserts were also homemade and very tasty. We were checked on regularly and had all needs met. The environment was very clean, including the bathrooms and we found that the place itself was in general very family friendly. We cannot wait to come back and finally have that Sunday lunch! Thank you for your hospitality, this will be our usual place to go for high quality dinner dates in the future. (I wish I took photos of the food itself but instead I was so excited I just dived in haha. Please buy your waitress a drink, she deserved it)

My god you have to try the pulled pork burger it is fantastic. The homemade chips are epic and the staff are lovely too!
I’m here for a few days so will try more food.
Just had another meal and you have to try the loaded chips the homemade curry sauce is superb. Spicy and fruity a really great mix.

Best country pub, highly recommended. I ate at this lovely quaint little pub for 6 evening in a row. Every evening I tried a different dish and all were delicious. “The Specials” as they were called were such value for money. Usually there was a choice of 2 or 3 specials and although you could order the usual pub grub, I never did as every plate was above and beyond.All the local residence and farmers would come here and within 2 days I was welcomed like a local. The atmosphere was lovely and I will definitely return if in the area and would be happy to make a detour if not in the area.

Had a very good family takeaway while here on holiday, pizza's are freshly made and good quality ingredients. The chicken shish wrap was absolutely delicious. Will return here again and order more chicken shish. ?

We headed home from our Sons not having anything to eat, and decided we would get food in Whitland. The Kebab house was the only place open, we ordered a pizza to share, and it was delicious. Very clean and friendly service, definitely use them again.

Arrived on our holiday and as its tradition to have fish and chips on our first night Whitland Chinese Takeaway was recommended by a resident. It was cooked freshly and quickly. Delicious ? Only thing to know in advance is that it's cash only.
