We hadn't reserved a table, but we still got a seat straight away. The food was exceptionally good, the portions were huge and the service was friendly and quick. We felt welcome and immediately at home. I would have loved to give ten stars!

Popped in for lunch and despite the restaurant being very busy, the food and service was excellent. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his sausage and cheese toastie and commented that it was the best sandwich he has eaten in all his travels. Coffee's arrived within minutes of ordering lovely and hot. Ladies were very polite and efficient. So nice to visit somewhere that staff make you feel welcome and valued. Thankyou will definitely call again.

The decoration is very welcoming and cosy.
Chips and pie of the day (chiken and leek) were also very good.

We came across this gorgeous little tearoom quite by chance when we turned off the A483 to look for somewhere to get a cuppa about halfway through our journey between Leeds and Pembrokeshire.

We only got a takeaway hot drink on that occasion to accompany the sandwiches we’d brought with us and which we ate on a nearby bench. We knew then, though, that this would be a great place to stop off for lunch a week later on our way home. Friendly and efficient Meg, who served us, recommended that we book a table in advance on our way back, and how right she was. This is a small tearoom and deli, which is very popular with the locals … and rightly so. The savoury food, the homemade cakes and scones, the hot drinks and the customer service are all amazing. There only seem to be about three staff in total, but the food they prepare is fresh and attractively presented, and the homemade cakes were delicious. Even though they were constantly very busy with seated and takeaway customers, on our return visit, Shirley did an excellent job of making everyone feel welcome, advising on the food, taking orders and generally being super-efficient, while also being friendly.

Just a few minutes’ drive along the B4390 off the A483, situated in a beautiful village, this tearoom is a real gem and we will certainly call in there again for lunch or coffee and cake (well, actually, we will try to pre-book) next time we are in the area. Highly recommended.

Had a lamb sagwala takeaway I must say I’m from the midlands curry land this curry was the bomb 10 out of 10 for flavour forgot to put my onion baghees in but no problem mistakes happen curry rice and naan bang on will be going back thanks Jess don’t forget my barghees next time ?
