Gwyn Arms is a well-kept and clean pub that serves good old-fashioned pub grub, all of which is homemade, including the chips. The service is friendly, and the food seems to be cooked fresh to order. Recommended dishes include the chicken curry and the sherry trifle, which has plenty of sherry. The apple crumble is best served cold with cream or ice cream. The pub is just off the main road, down from the Dan yr Ogof show caves, and has ample parking. While the pub is not specifically advertised as kid-friendly, it does offer a kids' menu with smaller portions of the adult meals. The pub is also wheelchair accessible, with no steps and a level car park.
