We really enjoyed our stay. We stopped here on our way to the cardigan coast
The couple were welcoming, we enjoyed the food and it was great to be in a traditional pub

Red Lion

Lovely atmosphere, came here for a few pints while at an army experience at Sennybridge training camp!
The people were very friendly and the place had a very cosy feel.
Also dog friendly!! ?

The Shoemakers Arms

Lovely location, we came over the New Year staying in the cottage next door. A community owned pub in a small village. The couple running the place were very friendly and accommodating, good selection of beers and good pub food at reasonable prices. A bit out of the way but worth a detour.

We went to the Red Lyon first but they weren't doing food but suggested this pub so glad they did. From walking in to leaving the lady serving was helpful and polite. There was a good choice of meals and desserts. We were a group of five and ordered different things. When delivered to the table they looked good, were hot and tasted good. We saw other meals being delivered and they looked lovely as well. All plates were empty at the end of the meal.
We have recommended this pub to our friends and fellow travellers. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
