Restaurants in Rhosllanerchrugog

The Sun Inn - Rhos
Hall St, Rhosllanerchrugog, WrexhamIt's my favourite place in Rhosllanerchrugog. The food is always good, decent prices and the staff are friendly and try to be as helpful as they can even when their stressed. It's the place to go whether your looking to sit and eat, get a takeaway or to sit and have some drinks in a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend going here.

The Delph Bar and Restaurant
Bethania Rd, Acrefair, WrexhamCame to the delph yesterday 13/10/24 me my partner and our son but we came for Sunday lunch and was very fortunate to get a table last minute, food was lovely and hot, the manager well what can I say he was amazing didn't rush you to finish your meal, had time for you and really cared which is hard to find nowadays the other staff they weren't all great but was happy to overturn that due to the managers behaviour towards us with his warm welcome. Only thing I will say is maybe sharper knifes as did struggle with a blunt knife but other than that we are looking forward to returning.

Pubby McPubface a.k.a. 'The Newbridge Arms'.
56 Newbridge Rd, Cefn-mawr, WrexhamVery welcoming and hospitable venue, well worth a visit.
The owner was very accommodating in making me a coffee (not on the menu) as I was driving from Kent to Snowdonia. My partner and I stayed and played a few round of pool and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming.
Definitely worth a stop if your passing.
Parking: There is a small lay-by just up from the pub or outside if it is a curb. No tickets needed but pretty tight.

Guans Chinese
27 Afoneitha Rd, Penycae, WrexhamGuan's is very good and tasty food. The service is always friendly. They have their busy times and you might have to wait but it's well worth it. Call your order so you can turn up when it's ready.
The only thing I can say that isn't great is the fact that they are only open four hours for five nights. Got to go and pick up my order!

The Eagles Inn
Llangollen Rd, Acrefair, WrexhamGood boozer. Nice friendly atmosphere. Gigged with our band sandraiser there last night. Good audience who were keen and knowledgeable about their music. Would gladly go back and play again if we're lucky enough to be asked.

Molly's cafe
Unit13, Vauxhall Industrial Estate, Ruabon, WrexhamStopped here this morning for a quick bite to eat whilst visiting the industrial estate on a job.
Firstly as I got out of my van a lovely lady greeted me outside and as I went inside to order I was then welcomed warmly by another friendly lady who took my order.
I ordered sausage and bacon on toast and a cup of tea for the road.
Whilst my order was being prepared I stepped outside to enjoy the morning sun and one of the lady's returned inside. I then heard my order being repeated between the 2 lady's. Within a few minutes my breakfast and drink were brought out to me.
Firstly whilst getting in my van a tiny amount of my brew spilled on my hand as the cup was so full. Once in my van I decided to tuck straight into my food which was absolutely delicious. Lovely toast, the sausage I would say was a "cheap" sausage which is not to be insulting as they usually taste much better than more premium high end sausages. Let's just say this sausage was more enjoyable than a 85% pork M&S cumberland if you catch my drift.
The bacon was also cooked to perfection not too crispy not too floppy a nice seer on a thick rasher. I could not find one fault with my food 10/10 a lovely breakfast.
Unfortunately there was a mistake with my drink. I ordered a tea 2 sugars and as mentioned earlier I actually overheard this being repeated whilst I was outside.
As I burnt my hand on the little spill getting in the van I decided not to sip my drink until I was a good 10-15 min away getting back on the motorway to Manchester and at this point I was mortified to discover my cup of tea was actually a cup of coffee. I would rather drink Adolf Hitlers preserved warm urine than drink a coffee so my drive home was soul destroying ?
However this minor hiccup would not stop me returning and next time I'm in Wrexham I look forward to coming back to this lovely friendly cafe for some more great food ☺️
Would love to leave a 5/5 review if it wasn't for the brew of dooooooom!
4/5 this time ☺️

The Little Kitchen
Community Enterprise Centre, Well St, Rhosymedre, Cefn-mawr, WrexhamAbsolutely amazing breakfast, no problem pilling on the extras mainly bacon. Has the milk frother on when I walk through the door, knows what I’m having better than I do always remember what the missus wants when I forget. Couldn’t fault if I tried, excellent prices wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Oriental Tandoori
10 Church St, Rhosllanerchrugog, WrexhamReally nice food. Tandoori mixed grill and keema nan hard to beat. Update March 2024, just had a near perfect take away, meat (lamb, not lamb tikka) Korai, keema nan, poppadoms and onion salad/yoghurt sauce. £15, however, perfectly cooked, great taste, and massive portion. Worth every penny. Thanks Lads.

The Community Cafe Rhosllanerchrugog
Berlin House, Market St, Rhosllanerchrugog, WrexhamThis place is very affordable and they offer a range of barista-style Coffees, making my Americano the way I like it! It is great to see that this cafe really does train and nurture volunteers too. the cafe offer healthy options and a vegetarian cooked breakfast too! The staff are friendly, polite and the atmosphere is great. If you're a family, there is a high-chair available and a box of small toys to keep the little ones occupied.
