We had been wanting to celebrate mine & my friend birthday for the last 4 months but because of work commitments we hadn't been able to until last week. We were certainly not dissapointed as both of us thought the meal was exceptional and looking forward to going again before Christmas Thank you David & Lorraine Lloyd Roberts we are lucky to have Y Sgwar here in Tremadog

Lovely little Bistro by the shore. Great menu and food delicious glad we only ordered one sandwich between us. Staff friendly and dogs are welcome. Thank you we will be back.

We didn’t stay. But had dinner there. Lovely food. Great staff and nice atmosphere. Food was locally sourced. Black pudding the Best ever. Would recommend and nice for a treat

Called in for lunch , very impressed with the food . My wife had fish chips and mushy peas which she said were v nice . I had the lamb burger that was very tasty . Would definitely call again.

Always love the food in Tafarn Pencei. Loving the new menu even more. Today we had Beef stew and cheesy dumplings and Pork belly and bean cassoulet, both with mash and veg. Was absolutely amazing, very tasty and food was hot, just what you need on a cold day. All washed down with a few pints. 5*****

We dined here last night with my mum, partner and two children. The staff were extremely welcoming, the food was delicious and the service was fast and efficient. They were so chatty and friendly, unfortunately we don't live nearby and were only visiting whilst in Wales but if we ever were to return we would definitely go back!

Parking: Outdoor car park 4 min walk from restaurant, was free after 4.30pm

Kid-friendliness: Really welcoming to our two children and had clean IKEA highchair available

literally the best food shop to go to in Gilfach. so glad the owners are my auntie and uncle so I can pop in and say hi while getting good food. Best staff, great tasting food and literally all my friends that live near say it's so good. only downside is not very accessible parking but thats fine for me since I walk there

Dietary restrictions: I cant have milk and not much of the menu that I know of has milk. very good with options

Parking: easy to park, hard to find a spot close. Very busy usually

Kid-friendliness: (from my experience, i am a kid lol) very good with drinks for kids but not too much with food, portions are fairly big and I can finish it but I don't think a 7-8yo would be able to, very easily seeable menu so good for short kids. ( basically a TV on a wall with the menu on it ) a lot of stuff layer out infront of you so you can see what looks like what and if you might like it.

On holiday and this was a nice cafe we visited. The food selection is so unique and not your usual plain cafe, the food is a bit adventurous and I suppose, it goes with the mood you are in. They have great vegan and vegetarian options. Coffees are great, the best sausage roll is served here btw.

Great dinner at the Golden Fleece tonight, they were extremely busy but the front of house staff were brilliant and we really enjoyed our meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the drinks went down a treat

This is a favourite of mine fantastic atmosphere, amazing food, and excellent beers, including M&B Mild, one of my favourites.
I had eaten here before, but this time it was Sunday Lunch, 29th September 24.
So, pint of Mild and if course Roast Beef lunch, home cooked food with the vegetables on the side of which was delicious, the gravey was so rich it was all so beautifully cooked.
The pub is a little gem of a place to the right it's a traditional bar area where dogs are very welcome and to the left a lounge and dining area, which is lovely.
Again, the beers and largers are responsibly priced they have steak night on Fridays, which I'd loved to have tried, but perhaps next time.
You won't be disappointed visiting the little gem of a pub. The staff are very welcoming as is the owner she's very passionate about her pub and her Gins, very good selection too.

Visited Caffi Siop Fawr just last week, looking forward to their bacon roll with fabulous bacon jam. But, sadly, no longer on the menu, so we ordered two breakfasts instead. Wow! What a treat! This was top notch restaurant-quality food, and so well presented. The little pea shoots were so tasty, and the garlic jam finished it all off with finesse. Staff, as ever, were so attentive and efficient - always good to chat with them. Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi i gyd, yn arbennig am sicrhau staff Cymraeg drwy'r siop a'r caffi. Mor braf gallu siarad ein hiaith ein hunain yn ein gwlad ein hunain heb orfod troi at ein hail iaith er mwyn gallu byw bywyd bob dydd.
