Had an absolutely fantastic night last night, food was delicious and despite how busy it was, very prompt. The manager was super friendly, gave good recommendations and made us feel extremely welcome. The band…well….absolutely brilliant! Hats off to the hat and fiddle! Atmosphere in the bar was brilliant, everyone up dancing and laughing. An all round incredible evening ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited a few times now and always had a brilliant time. The food is excellent quality, well cooked and definitely value for money. There is something for everyone and they cater well for children too. Service is spot on and it's always clean. Definitely recommend!

Still in keeping with the industrial past, with lots of photographs of past and present activities. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the cakes were very nice. Unfortunately, the do not serve food on Monday, so we were unable to sample the menu. We did have drinks and cakes after our walk.

Great products here where everything seems to be £1.50 ? Very reasonable and the shop is a throwback to days gone by. Recommend the large minced beef pie. You won't be disappointed.

Visited today and had a fantastic meal the large cod was excellent and the beef madras had a really good amount of beef in there both excellent value and since the last visit the chips are now not so chunky as before which I found much better, I had to knock one point off for service as the waitress serving the drink decided to slam my pint of guinness on the table and walk off, I did not say anything as she might have been having a bad day, will always return as the food is excellent and not over expensive so really good value.

Fab quirky little place (off the beaten track so you need to find it first) but great friendly service and reasonably priced tasty cafe food. Came here as a group of 10 cyclists and they managed to serve the whole group with cooked food (bacon rolls) within 15 minutes.

Now called Hot Moon Thai Kitchen we called in and had some very very nice food. For starters, we had Thai Fish Cakes and Chicken Satay, Both lovely, the Fishcakes especially nice with lovely fresh flavours. Main course we had Beef in oyster sauce, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Thai Veg Fried Rice. All really nice. I can't believe we have never been before either when it was called Sky Thai or since the change of name.

I stopped at The Afan Lodge today, while walking my dog as it is a dog friendly venue. I was served by Sam & Fran, whom were absolutely delightful, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was cosy and the views beautiful on this sunny day. I had a pub lunch, which was amazing too! A recommended stop off if you are in the area ?

Had a takeaway after getting home by train .

Food was very nice , the Bollywood cocktail probably being the standout . Plenty of it well cooked and tasty . Delivery was within the time given so no long wait .

I'd give it 5 stars but I found the website awkward , for some reason i could not get it to place a delivery order only collection . Shame as there was a slight discount on the web . I used the phone which was fine but no discount . Maybe I should have said something , I forgot my fault . I would happily use again as I did enjoy the meal .
