The fact you can't book tables and that the queue was out the door by 12pm shows how well loved this place is!!
We recieved a super friendly welcome, as a party of 6 we knew it would be a big ask to get us seated but it wasn't a problem for the staff at all, they asked to wait (literally 10mins) while a few people finished and the tables were cleared away.
The whole atmosphere is just warm and inviting and everyone seemed to be enjoying! The coffee is absolutely delicious- the best around!
We tried a few things on the menu, the breakfast was great and the breakfast bap was delicious and the little hash brown bites were super tasty!
Overall a lovely little place, good food, good coffee, friendly staff and reasonable prices!!!

The Castell Mynach
Groesfaen, Llantrisant Rd, PontyclunHad a stunning 3 course meal for £30 here tonight, brilliant selection or starters, mains and desserts. All served by a very witty and humorous Carrie.
The atmosphere was lovely and I will definitely be back, especially for the trio of chocolate dessert.

34 Cowbridge Rd, Pontyclun10 out of 10 on every aspect of the restaurant, from the staff to the food! Extremely accommodating and a thoroughly enjoyed evening of food and laughter! The owner was fantastic and his magic tricks left me speechless? although that doesn’t take much? Reasonable prices for fantastic food! Thank you very much for a wonderful evening! I will definitely be back!!

9-11 Talbot Rd, Talbot Green, PontyclunFirst visit last Saturday ! Absolutely fabulous ! Great pizzas great pastas starters excellent . The staff are great seems very rushed but very busy so understandable ! Very friendly staff and quick service . We will definitely return had a lovely night ! Decor is stylish modern and cosy feel nice log fire heating both rooms ! And prices are very reasonable Average £14.50 for a large pizza ! They do steaks pastas ect loads of choice ! Loved it thank you !

Had food ordered for 9 people for a first aid course and was picked up at 8:45 and was still warm when picked up and pasties, sandwiches and cakes are always lush , will definitely go here again and a lovely atmosphere when walking in the shop to smiley faces ?

79 Llantrisant Rd, PontyclunVisited with family to celebrate my birthday. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We all had the set menu called The Palm Tree Mega Deal £14.95 but this is only available Sun - Thursday. The portions were excellent. The only downside was that for some reason they no longer sell alcohol. But you can bring your own which we were not made aware of when we booked. However a quick trip to the Co-op down the road saved the night. There is a £3.00 corkage charge. Overall an excellent night and well worth a visit.

Haveli, Coedcae Ln, Talbot Green, PontyclunShaam and his team catered for my parents 50th wedding anniversary party at our house yesterday. From the first time we met Shaam and the team, to planning the event and finally the actual event itself, we had fantastic service. The food was delicious and delivered piping hot. All the guests loved the food and commented on the quality and service. Thanks again to the whole team for making the event so successful.

Llantrisant Rd, Groes-faen, PontyclunWe booked for 2 on a Saturday lunchtime. Besides for a rather loud 'disagreement' between the kitchen staff and barmaid, the visit was excellent. The young waiter and waitress were very helpful and pleasant. The food was outstanding! All came out very hot and timely. We had the fish and chips, possibly the best (and largest) piece of fish I've ever had and the batter was just perfect and crispy. If we are ever passing we would visit again.

The Wheatsheaf Hotel, High St, Llantrisant, PontyclunBest pub in Llantrisant. Great hosts and always good beer. Guest ales are always well chosen. They don't do food, so eat before you visit! The Tuesday night pub quiz is a big attraction.
Parking: You have to park in Swan Street or Gwaun Ruperra.

The Rock & Scallop
1 Llantrisant Rd, PontyclunDespite some of the poor reviews for take away, I decided to try it out myself. I went at about 5:30 on a Sunday evening and my order was taken immediately by a pleasant and efficient young man. My fish and chips and mushy peas was ready in literally six minutes. It was £16.75, but the portions were enormous and would easily be enough for three people, so good value. It was very tasty and I will go again, but next time I will ask for the smaller portion size which is £3 cheaper.
