13-14 William St, Ystrad, PentreThree day before I broke up with my ex in September, we passed by here, and she wanted to have a lunch in the pub. I was okay with it but later she changed her mind. This week I had drinks here twice before I go to China and stay there forever. The price of drinks are reasonable while the vibe is chill. It’s a lovely place!

Church Rd, Ton Pentre, PentreServes the best selections of Gin which is my go to drink!. And it always nice to change up the flavour. Bar staff are always nice. Out back area is small but they've done the best with the space they have. We have also had food here which was lovely!!

8 Gelli Rd, Ton Pentre, PentreLove everything about this pub! The Sunday roast dinner is the best iv ever had in a pub.
Only 1 thing I really wasn't happy with is I was charged £3 just for some extra gravy.
Think that may of put us off going back.

Mamos Grill
191 Gelli Rd, Gelli, PentreAbsolutely by far the best chicken shiesh and mixed (lamb chunks with chicken) ever. Salad was fresh and all food served in separate containers. Bonus was the bed of rice under the meat and the Turkish bread. Definitely recommend and return. Thanks mamos-game changer

10 Church Rd, Ton Pentre, PentreOrdered a variety of items from their menu and never had a problem. Always fresh , hot food. Love their pizzas, chicken wings, burgers and nachos with toppings. Also like how their chips are crispy, fresh and piping hot ?

94 Llewellyn St, PentreRating this place for my teens as I don't eat kebabs or burgers. They are eating their burgers and kebabs currently and just said this is banging make sure you give them 5 stars mum! Empty plates and very happy teens. Cost was reasonable too. Delivery took 50 mins on a Saturday night for info if they are hungry. Coleslaw pot was nice as had a taste
