Parking: In the middle of Abercynon high street, but plenty of spaces to pull up and run in to collect your order.

The George Inn

Cosy local pub, good place for a quiet drink. Dog friendly too!

Wheelchair accessibility: Bar and lower food lounge are accessible, toilets are not but they are working on it.

Kyber Kebabs

Really good pizza I throughly enjoyed, worth the price the service was very good, the kebabs are really nice me and my mother have came here once a week as a cheat night if you don’t come here your missing out!

wonderful chinese

First time ordering here. Clearly these people know how to cook. And it's value for money! We enjoyed our takeout dinner consisting of won ton soup, pancake rolls, house special fried rice & house special mixed veg.
All types of meat were nicely cooked and tasty. Fried rice had small pieces of meat, which contributed to the overall taste. Pancake rolls are unbelievably good. Won ton soup was nice and refreshing, but I expected it to have a tastier broth - though I don't know much about Chinese cuisine so maybe that is the way they are meant to be.
100% recommended, I expect to order a lot from here in the near future.

Mountain View

This is our regular take away, my wife ( from the Philippines) loves the chow mein and I usually go for the battered sausage and chips which is also very nice, staff are friendly, is very busy on a Friday just after 5 but happy to wait for our food.

Little India Takeaway

Had food from here a few times, always lovely and great quality, placed an order today via food hub, who cancelled the order somehow but had still taken payment, little India called them to sort it out, told me refund was pending. However little India are still doing my order and stated when refund shows to call back and make payment if refund hits my account, very trusting which is much appreciated, great customer service, thank you

Baileys Arms

Had Currys from here a couple of times now. The chefs set meals are amazing. I've had the madras and both times it's been hot, hot, and tasty. The tika and korma set meals are also really really good, the chips are good, nans are good and the potato dish and keema rice was really nice as well.The only downside for us are the burgers. We tried the pulled pork and the belly pork burgers and to be honest they weren't great. If we stick to the curry and it's happy days. In general great food and great value. We'll order again soon for sure.

Happy Valley

We're new to the area. Our first visit to this one, after trying all of the ones around to find a favourite. Impressed with the quality of the food, it tasted fresh and well seasoned. The chicken balls batter was light and fluffy, yet still crunchy. The chow mein was more bean sprouty than I expected, but tasted very fresh and the chicken was tender and well seasoned. We were especially happy with the salt and pepper chips, as all the other ones from the other takeaways have been disappointing: either too soggy, not seasoned enough or at all, no peppers/onions/garlic or just completely missing from the menu. These ones were amazing. I do wish they put garlic in them, but I might be able to ask next visit time. Another bonus is they take card payments.

The Friary

Did business with them recently - left my partner to pay and I fetched the van. She got in and told me she'd asked for a bag of scrumps. I asked what it came to and quickly worked out they had charged an extra £1.50 for the scrumps - a waste product!!! Fortunately another chippie has opened in Mount - it's great, and scrumps are free!!

Magic Wok

lovely restaurant, loved the food. the lady on the phone was so so sweet and would clarify my chosen menu items before putting my order through. she's such a sweetheart and i always feel well taken care of when ordering from here, which is hard to comeby from other takeaways.

Golden Wok

Delivered earlier great service from delivery driver.I ordered smoked shredded chicken it came in batter it was more crispy chicken as other places comes as chicken without the batter a bit disappointing

Local Pizza & Kebabs

Aadams is a great place to get your takeaway from; you could order it in the shop or dow delivery. But either way it by far the best kerbab shop in Mountain Ash! It has a variety of different burgers, meat and drinks. Overall i would highly recommend going to Aadams, you won’t regret it!

Tasty Kebab & Pizza House

Arguably the best kebab shop in Mountain Ash. Never had a problem from here, and the food isn’t covered in layers of grease like other places. Highly recommend the Hawaiian burger!

So glad I didn’t listen to poor reviews, had food from here last night and it was by far the best pizza ive ever tasted, chicken on point too. Will be using again

Pizza Time

Amount of kebab and chips you get for your money is loads and tastes lovely and considering it comes from Abercynon to aberfan and food is still little warm is good only reason I didn't give 5 star is my kebab and chips still little warm but my pizza box was crushed and cold and pizza base was crunchy so in future I'd advise you invest in food delivery bags atleast then it keeps the food a bit warmer has for the crushed box tell your delivery driver shape up be bit more careful with orders

The GRILL HUT

First time order. When visited store was greated by lovely father and son who have just taken over the business. We was also greated by the kind lady called li##a who explained the new milkshakes they do and even what ingredients was used and how it was done.
Me and my partner ordered chips and meat and was really surprised by the meat potion. The container was full of delicious meat that was seasoned very well. The chips was lovely and had the perfect golden chips and was surprised the chips was not soggy or greasy after the beautiful large potion of meat.

The milkshakes was beautiful and was none of the nesquick or artificial rubbish. It was beautiful fresh bannana, fresh cream with a beautiful chocolate sauce.

Very very happy but I don't think my wallet will be after discovering this shop!
