Absolutely lovely place! Very good food, super service from the staff, and friendly atmosphere. We happened to be there on a pub quiz night and had so much fun!
Would definitely recommend the place!

The Butchers Arms Bunkhouse and Brewpub

Came for lunch today, we booked online but the only confusing thing is that it isn’t clear online when you ‘confirm’ booking, itll just tell you to edit or cancel booking but it’ll show in your emails a bit later on. Because of the bad signal we ended up booking twice out of confusion hahaha! It was quiet in there but none the less the greeting we had (we think he might be the owner, we spoke about keys) was so kind and welcome. Fire was going, music was on, poured us a drink straight away. What a friendly and nice man, I really appreciated being in his company. It’s hard to impress me when it comes to a lasagne but this one just topped my incredible mood off even more. See attached the house salad!!! Never seen anyone present one like that, it was amazing. What was even better is that you had the chef delivering the meals, we absolutely loved this, we always look forward to going to pubs and they treat you like you’ve been there all your life. Massive recommendation here, it was quiet but the village is quiet, we loved the cosy chill vibes of it all. Thank you to all the staff there, you added to a lovely birthday for me today!

Feed Me Fitt

Today I went to the cheesecake guy (next to Feed Me Fitt) and after seeing it a few times I’ve given in and just went in to see what they do here. So went in to ask what it is they do. After having a cheeky gander I decided to give it a go! The lady who served me (sadly didn’t get her name) was lovely! Answered all my questions and was very patient. When my food was done, I took it to the car and started my 40 minute venture home. My car smelt DEVINE! I couldn’t wait to dig in! Nervous to give my fussy boyfriend his food, I warmed it up and handed it to him. There was silence for a solid minute and then a very abrupt “oh my f****** God..” he devoured it in minutes. We can’t wait for the next visit and cannot recommend Feed Me Fit enough! Need to look into expanding to Rhondda area because we will be your top customers as gym goers!

Twyn Fish Bar

I was recommended this fish shop by a friend and have used it twice in the last month, the latest was yesterday. The shop is spotlessly clean and a large cod and chips were cooked freshly for me. I also had a potato fritter and a bottle of water, the bill came to exactly £10. I can't remember the last time I have enjoyed fish and chips so much, well done and a bargain price as well.

Tasty Pizza

Fresh and wonderful pizza for cheap prices, love the buy one get one for 99p deal you can get 10 10inch pizzas and chips for just shy of £16. Support your local businesses especially this one. <3

Can’t fault the service of the staff especially the bar staff Gareth. But the new menu what can I say about the menu so much choice I couldn’t choose so I gave Tracy for a recommendation and she suggested the block party platter (highly recommend )

Glebeland Fish Bar and Kebab

Really good chips and kebabs. Wonderful staff as well! You can order online or you can order on just eat. I have never had a bad meal here. Always early, whenever I have had food from here, it is always great.best chicken kebab I have had ever. Really love the food and really well priced. I love this little gem in Merthyr Tydfil.

Pizza Hut Restaurants

Fantastic time at this hut. The staff were all super helpful and friendly, plus the manager was definitely leading his team. Great job keeping fresh food out and salad bar topped up. Definitely recommend.

Star Grill

The best freshly made food in the area. I can highly recommend lamb or chicken shish wraps. These are just out of this world. Meat is cooked to perfection. Pizzas amazing and so to are the staple kebab meats etc. I have ordered so many times and have yet to find fault. Keep up the good work all at Star Grill.

Mogsy Belle Ice Cream Parlour

Great place for ice cream and cake, staff were friendly, lots of flavours for both ice cream and cake. I had 2 scoops of ice cream which was £5.40 and tasted very good. Quite a good location with good links being 5 mins from both a470 and a465 heads of the valleys roads. Ample seating available, all of which are clean and disabled toilets available at the shop. Will be back.

Really good food. We own a pub so sometimes don’t have time to prepare our own food after closing. Flames always deliver in good time and the food has been faultless. Our go-to delivery after a long shift.

I recently visited Harvester, and I had the pleasure of being served by Wayne. From the moment we were seated, he made sure we were well taken care of. His attentiveness, friendly demeanour, and knowledge of the menu really enhanced our dining experience. Wayne provided excellent service, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout the meal.

New Simply Indian

This is our fav Indian restaurant in the Merthyr valley. A lot of the dishes are Nepali so not you’re usual Indian but close enough. As a vegetarian I think they have the best saag/palak paneer.Delivery can take up to 1.5hrs so just order ahead of time.

Tbh me and my family used to order kebabs form here every other week they where amazing the only reason we stopped because of the price it went up where we where paying over 20+ pound for 2 kebabs (we got delivery’s) but it should never be that price surely. But it was nice but price put us off big time sadly

Sunshine Kebab

firstly, the food is so quick it’s unbelievable. they have really nice delivery workers who I tip very well. I order from sunchine a lot. the chips are soggy and could use a little more to it. apart from that it’s absolutely brilliant. I would suggest the donner meat wrap. £8.50 for a full meal and the wrap is HUGE and stuffed with meat. try it and u won’t regret it.

Chickenland-Pizza & Kebab

We had 2 chicken burgers and a mixed kebab the burgers where massive filled us up also they where lovely would recommend, the kebab is really nice also I’d suggest one or the other cause the burger sizes are massive but all in all will order again and would highly recommend
