Twyn Fish Bar

I was recommended this fish shop by a friend and have used it twice in the last month, the latest was yesterday. The shop is spotlessly clean and a large cod and chips were cooked freshly for me. I also had a potato fritter and a bottle of water, the bill came to exactly £10. I can't remember the last time I have enjoyed fish and chips so much, well done and a bargain price as well.

The New Crown

Absolutely lovely place! Very good food, super service from the staff, and friendly atmosphere. We happened to be there on a pub quiz night and had so much fun!
Would definitely recommend the place!

Pentrebach House Table Table

Stayed at the Premier Inn opposite for work in the area so headed across the car park for dinner. Atmosphere was ok with music playing not too loud and food and drink offerings were good and reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and can have no complaints. I was served by Elizabeth and she was extremely pleasant and friendly . Always made contact when passing to check if I needed anything and if everything was ok. If working in the area again would return most definitely and looking forward to breakfast in the morning. Well done team ??

Fresh and wonderful pizza for cheap prices, love the buy one get one for 99p deal you can get 10 10inch pizzas and chips for just shy of £16. Support your local businesses especially this one. <3

Feed Me Fitt

Today I went to the cheesecake guy (next to Feed Me Fitt) and after seeing it a few times I’ve given in and just went in to see what they do here. So went in to ask what it is they do. After having a cheeky gander I decided to give it a go! The lady who served me (sadly didn’t get her name) was lovely! Answered all my questions and was very patient. When my food was done, I took it to the car and started my 40 minute venture home. My car smelt DEVINE! I couldn’t wait to dig in! Nervous to give my fussy boyfriend his food, I warmed it up and handed it to him. There was silence for a solid minute and then a very abrupt “oh my f****** God..” he devoured it in minutes. We can’t wait for the next visit and cannot recommend Feed Me Fit enough! Need to look into expanding to Rhondda area because we will be your top customers as gym goers!

Fantastic time at this hut. The staff were all super helpful and friendly, plus the manager was definitely leading his team. Great job keeping fresh food out and salad bar topped up. Definitely recommend.

Nice Greggs with small seating area. Very busy store though so expect longer waits than average for this store compared to other ones. Usually several staff on tills so quick as can be expected for footfall it gets.

checked out the reviews looked decent and it was a decent mixed Doner Kebab..plenty of meat too!just what's needed after shredding the Trails at Bike Park Wales! ✌️

Star Grill

The best freshly made food in the area. I can highly recommend lamb or chicken shish wraps. These are just out of this world. Meat is cooked to perfection. Pizzas amazing and so to are the staple kebab meats etc. I have ordered so many times and have yet to find fault. Keep up the good work all at Star Grill.

Mogsy Belle Ice Cream Parlour

Great place for ice cream and cake, staff were friendly, lots of flavours for both ice cream and cake. I had 2 scoops of ice cream which was £5.40 and tasted very good. Quite a good location with good links being 5 mins from both a470 and a465 heads of the valleys roads. Ample seating available, all of which are clean and disabled toilets available at the shop. Will be back.

firstly, the food is so quick it’s unbelievable. they have really nice delivery workers who I tip very well. I order from sunchine a lot. the chips are soggy and could use a little more to it. apart from that it’s absolutely brilliant. I would suggest the donner meat wrap. £8.50 for a full meal and the wrap is HUGE and stuffed with meat. try it and u won’t regret it.

Really good food. We own a pub so sometimes don’t have time to prepare our own food after closing. Flames always deliver in good time and the food has been faultless. Our go-to delivery after a long shift.

New Simply Indian

This is our fav Indian restaurant in the Merthyr valley. A lot of the dishes are Nepali so not you’re usual Indian but close enough. As a vegetarian I think they have the best saag/palak paneer.Delivery can take up to 1.5hrs so just order ahead of time.

Rhydycar Harvester

Today we attended Harvester Merthyr Tydfil reluctantly as on previous visits the food has been disappointing served luke warm but today our server Amy was friendly and helpful and the food was the best we have ever had at any Harvester the food was piping hot and the salad bar wasn't at all messy and mixed up

Tbh me and my family used to order kebabs form here every other week they where amazing the only reason we stopped because of the price it went up where we where paying over 20+ pound for 2 kebabs (we got delivery’s) but it should never be that price surely. But it was nice but price put us off big time sadly

We had 2 chicken burgers and a mixed kebab the burgers where massive filled us up also they where lovely would recommend, the kebab is really nice also I’d suggest one or the other cause the burger sizes are massive but all in all will order again and would highly recommend
