Station Cres, Llandrindod WellsFood was delicious, the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was quiet when we initially went in but got busier after 12. Really enjoyed our meal here and the kids can't wait to come back
Vegetarian options: The macaroni cheese was really good, and there were other options for vegetarians too
Kid-friendliness: The staff were lovely to my kids and gave them plenty of options for food to cater for various appetites. They were really chatty and friendly and gave the kids reading and colouring books as soon as we sat down

Golden Lion Inn
Newbridge on Wye, Llandrindod WellsFriendly community pub in the middle of the village of Newbridge on Wye with car parking available opposite. There are two bars, one more informal bar which had a lovely fire going, and seems to be used by the locals, and a lounge bar for those who like things a little quieter. Food is served Thursday-Sunday and a popular carvery is available on Sunday lunchtime (booking advised). Bar staff were very friendly as were the locals. Great to see that friendly and welcoming village pubs like this can still be found ?

13 High St, Builth WellsOur group decided to stop for a drink and a bite to eat, I had the tuna panini and my wife had the steak loaded fries. Both fresh and very nice.

The Trout Inn
The Trout Inn, Beulah, Llanwrtyd WellsI went to the Trout Inn for Sunday Lunch, having never been before and I was really Suprised with the outstanding Service and Quality of food. The Menu is very Clear and Simple to chose from... I understand that it only opens on Weekends.
I paid for the meal and drinks and left the pub extreamly satisfied... I noticed that I thought I had underpaid as my smart watch informed me of the transaction of £49, so returned to the pub to rectify... the lady behind the bar rechecked my bill, to my surprise the bill was correct.... I will definitely return soon for Sunday Lunch...

Dolecoed Rd, Llanwrtyd WellsLovely restaurant - service was exceptional. Waitress was polite and reminded me on how my parents brought me up. A refreshing change from the usual dreadful standards seen today in teenagers. Food was delicious and the location perfect.

Neuadd Arms Hotel
The Square, Llanwrtyd WellsDropped in on a wet Sunday afternoon and was taken aback at the friendly welcome. We had tea and cakes. The cakes baked by Svetlana were amazing we had her chocolate, and her bounty cake, absolutely fantastic. A great place as a base for walking.
Food and drinks: Afternoon tea and cakes are fantastic.
Noteworthy details: Friendly hotel/ pub with links with Screaming Lord Sutch

Kebab 2000
4 West St, Builth WellsDrove 30 minutes each way from Spring Rock fishery after reading no so favourable reviews about Lip licking Kebab in Llandrindod. Was very glad I did, taste food, and very friendly staff. The shop was very clean. Pizza was brilliant and kebab was lovely. Also hubby had a chicken burger which he said was lush. If in area would defo use again.
