Restaurants in Llantrisant

Cross Inn
Main Rd, Cross Inn, Llantrisant, PontyclunWe were looking for somewhere we could take our dog and came across the Cross Inn.
This cosy little pub was serving Sunday lunch which was one of the best I've had. A choice of lamb, beef, port or turkey and veg and lots of gravy (if you want it). It tasted amazing. A good choice of desserts too, I had rhubarb crumble and custard - which was perfect.
2 roasts, 2 pints, 1 dessert for under £35!
Everyone was very friendly.
Thank you to everyone there.
Parking: Parking behind the pub, room for about 12 cars or so

Station Cafe
15 Coedcae Ln, PontyclunNot often i leave a review unless i think a place is worth it.
Just popped in with my brother as passing. We had an all day breakfast and swapping one item for another was no problem for the staff (unlike some places). Everything was cooked perfectly, quickly and fresh! Staff were friendly and the toilet was spotless. There's plenty of parking, plenty of seating and they even have a few highchairs for little ones.
Would definitely use again if ever in the area!

Bradleys Coffee
Ely Valley Rd, Talbot Green, PontyclunThis place has a electric atmosphere, when going here on my 88th bday last week, was immediately kegged by the handsome barista, and told I looked not a day past 11 (what a charmer) the coffee taste like my old Betty’s used to back in colorado (sweet as a Hedgehog) This places toilet facilities were absolutely unbelievable the guy even offered to wipe for me. I LOVE THIS PLACE, AND WILL BE RETURNING UNTIL IM 100.Kid-friendliness: Love em

Miskin Arms
Hensol Rd, Miskin, PontyclunNot experienced this concept before, choosing your main course from a selection of raw meat and fish which is then cooked to your liking and priced accordingly. We had the £29 for two courses each, one carrot soup and bajan fishcakes to start. For main a wonderful lamb dish that fell off the bone. Shared a cheeseboard for dessert, again excellent. Attentive staff, all very professional. Definitely recommend the Miskin Arms.
Parking: Limited disability bays.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access available.

Castle Cafe
50 High St, Llantrisant, PontyclunCastle Café is so much more than your average café. In fact, it's the Robin Reliant of cafés; it's not much to look at but, damn it, it gets the job done. While the tea and coffee is standard cafe protocol, there is only one main event here - the eleventh commandment that is the hangover fry up. Nothing acts as a post-booze up comfort blanket more than a good, greasy helping of eggs, sausages, beans, toast, mushrooms and the blackest of puddings for good measure. While it is definitely the ultimate binge food, there is no doubting the power of the almighty fry up to cure the hangover blues. Whether it's a bad head, dodgy stomach or a general feeling of uselessness, the fry up cures all. No GP could prescribe a hangover cure the likes of a fried breakfast. With the ingenious introduction of a cooked breaky take out service, the good people at Castle Café have struck gold. The busy nightlife of the many surrounding pubs all but guarantees a busy morning-after for the Castle Café kitchen on the weekend. If you're feeling the aftermath of a night out, push the bran flakes aside; you know where the phone is.
