Restaurants in Llandovery

Tudors Cafe
6 Kings Rd, LlandoveryA somewhat outdated, simple café that serves everything for breakfast and a small lunch. The service is very friendly and the food tastes very good. A good price-performance ratio. You can only pay in cash. We'd love to come back.
Parking: The Castle car park is less than 100m away.

Owls Nest Tea Room Diner
Lower Rd, LlandoveryI've visited this popular venue on more than one occasion where the service is spot on. The staff are very polite helpful and friendly. The food is outstanding and is good value for the cost. I will revisit this venue many more times snd would recommend the Owls Nest to all my family and friends.
Parking: Each visit has had enough to plenty of parking spaces
Wheelchair accessibility: The dining area and cafe is wheelchair accessible but the parking area can present itself difficult due to the gravel stones.

La Patisserie
2 High St, LlandoveryThis is just one of the best bakery shops we've ever been! Tasty pasties, breads and cakes. We seldom take ourselves for a treat (as our finances are tight) but just to round off hubby's bday holiday in Llandovery, we dropped by this shop to buy our favourites before hitting the road.

The White Hall Hotel
1 High St, LlandoveryI recently stayed at the Whitehall Hotel in Llandovery, Wales, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are comfortable and come with en-suite showers, and the breakfast is delicious.
The location is perfect, right on High Street, close to Llandovery Castle and other local attractions. They offer free parking and high-speed internet, which is always a plus. The on-site restaurant serves great food, and the bar is a nice spot to relax in the evening.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re visiting Llandovery. Highly recommended!

Myddfai Community Hall & Visitor Centre
Myddfai, LlandoveryIt's worth a visit to mingle with the people. Especially when the Farmer’s Market is taking place, which is probably the last Sunday of the month. There are pure apple juices that taste very different, excellent cakes and cupcakes, jams, chutneys, eggs, very tasty sheep's cheese, and probably also sourdough bread and beef (the latter not when we were there). All people were extremely friendly, open and interested. Not only did we enjoy shopping, we also had lively conversations at every stand and learned a lot about the country and its people. Absolute recommendation: The Cawl in the café. Delicious.

Miz Spice
34-36 High St, LlandoveryGreat restaurant. Caters to local tastes, which may result in milder and sweeter than expected, but quality food and friendly service.
Vegetarian options: Not as wide a range for vegetarians as one might expect from an Indian menu, but there is biryani or balti, and a number of vegetable dishes that can serve as mains.
Dietary restrictions: No assumptions of inclusive breads etc., so easy gluten free choices
Parking: Street parking is free after 6pm

The Castle Hotel
Kings Rd, LlandoveryIf I could give 10 stars for the staff who served us our meals this afternoon, I would! Lovely ladies and young man went over and above to make us feel welcome and made a fuss of our dog which is a ‘win’ with us most definitely!
Food was very tasty and reasonably priced.
We will definitely visit again when in the area.
