Crown Inn Lixwm

We wanted to have a late Sunday lunch and as not local booked hoping was good. We were not disappointed, my slow roast pork was perfect and hubby was more than pleased with his roast beef. We both had a dessert and my jam sponge with custard was lovely and light and hubby loved his bread and butter pudding. If you are looking for a lovely pub serving good food I would highly recommend l.

Burger King

It's a burger king what more is there to say? Hell of a view out over Deeside and the wirral though. Car park is a bit of a mess would have thought they'd fix it up when they refurbished the building.

The Druid Inn

All the food was delicious and as expected a little bit different from the ordinary to make it special. We have been to The Henry Potts and The Hare and v pleased that this newer Brunning pub is also a go-to venue.

Royal Oak

Sunday lunch is incredible for a cheap price. All fresh and piping hot. Beer garden is lovely in the summer and dog friendly. In addition there’s plenty for the kids in the summer, bouncy castle etc. Highly recommend

The Gables

This place is amazing, accommodation is wonderful, food out of this word, riding fantastic, Debbie your host is so lovely and makes your stay the most enjoyable experience. Can't recommend it high enough. Love love love this place.

Dont really leave reviews but felt compelled to after tonight service, i eat alone alot usually get funny looks but tonight i had a nice warm welcoming an A1 quailty serivice off the younger lad serving table 19, nice friendly smile, not to much chat but enough to feel i was getting looked after, would go again would recommend that lad deserve a raise or promotion, thank you ?

5***** fantastic venue DJ at an engagement party this evening . owners are very friendly and staff are amazing . this venue is definitely a premium venue and when all the work is complete this is definitely a venue that's going to be unrivalled by the competition. look forward to coming again soon thanks guys keep up the amazing work.

The young lady I think her name is shelly was friendly and polite , it is a Shame it was her last day , a great big thank you from and all your loyal customers ,you will be missed . From the guy in the black jumper and cap .

Shell

Handy station, got all the essentials and a free cash machine. I find the fuel well priced but then again I only use Shell garages for fuel, wont put unbranded cheap fuel in my car. I work in a car repair garage and the amount of repairs we have to deal with from poor quality fuel is an eye opener, save a penny at the pump and spend few £100 in your local repair shop instead.

Tak Bo Takeaway

Fantastic Chinese take out in Holywell. The chicken and cashew was absolutely spot on, good rice (both boiled and egg fried) and the soup was beautiful. Staff really friendly and price

RAJ MAHAL

Its a hit and miss, sometimes its amazing other times not so great. I like their chicken tikka masala made extra spicy and the dansak .I usually have my own rice or chapatis.

Popcorn chicken absolutely banging lovley good portion and the chips and gravy was lush ?? Very good prices and delivery quicker than expected less than 20 mins delivery man a treat definitely recommend!!
