Crown Inn Lixwm

Really enjoyed our evening here. Staff were pretty good, decor is great, food was really good. Only criticism was my gravy was very thin and staff could do with being a little happier to be there.

Britannia Inn Halkyn

Food we had wasn’t as flavourful as hoped for (there is a new chef since we have been and we’ve heard great things) but the pub itself is unreal and the staff are lovely!! we will definitely back to give other dishes a try,it’s such a nice atmosphere and great for locals

The Druid Inn

Popped in here when we heard it had changed ownership
and been renovated.
Wow, what a pleasing to the eyes now LOVELY everything about it was exceptional.
Staff, food and ambiance was 5 STAR. You won't be disappointed.

The Gables

Beautiful house, top class hospitality from Debbie. Excellent food and great facilities for your horse. Great place for riding right on the doorstep in beautiful countryside. Thank you Debbie for a really lovely time staying at your beautiful house. And the horses loved it too ?xxx

The Crooked Horn & rae's restaurant

Lovely place for a pint, excellent service and the locals where brilliant.

Definitely be calling in again when in the area.

Burger King

After breaking down on the dual carriageway in the wind and rain, we were towed here and the service we got was amazing. We had some food and were able to stay warm and dry as long as we needed. I didn’t catch their names but the shift manager really took care of us, and the girl on shift with him was also lovely. Never had such good customer service, let alone in a fast food restaurant, so I had to leave a review to highlight the awesome staff here.

The Market Cross - JD Wetherspoon

We called in for a quick drink to see how the place was, now that it's under new management. The staff were very welcoming & helpful and the prices were fantastic.
Being a wine drinker, the reason I couldn't give 5 stars, is that the selection of wines is quite small. All in all, though, a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be going again!

Had the 12 piece chicken bucket last week it was yummy had it before not sure if they changed the recipe but it's definitely tasty you get loads and chips are always good also had the gravy which is really good.

Tak Bo Takeaway

Fantastic Chinese take out in Holywell. The chicken and cashew was absolutely spot on, good rice (both boiled and egg fried) and the soup was beautiful. Staff really friendly and price

Shell

Handy station, got all the essentials and a free cash machine. I find the fuel well priced but then again I only use Shell garages for fuel, wont put unbranded cheap fuel in my car. I work in a car repair garage and the amount of repairs we have to deal with from poor quality fuel is an eye opener, save a penny at the pump and spend few £100 in your local repair shop instead.

RAJ MAHAL

Its a hit and miss, sometimes its amazing other times not so great. I like their chicken tikka masala made extra spicy and the dansak .I usually have my own rice or chapatis.
