Owner and staff were very pleasant and friendly.Motel rooms were lovely and clean and used good quality bedding and towels.Breakfast was nicely presented and very tasty using local or good quality products.

The Plas Restaurant

Had a warm welcome from the staff at the bar. We got here in the afternoon. Enjoyed my seafood platter from the specials board and a sweet cider. My friend recommends his lamb and the meal was quite delicious. From where we sat the view was wonderful from a height looking at the castle, along the coastline and the flat land below including a golf course and caravan and a camp site. Tables, floors and toilets were clean. Would definitely come back for another meal.

Absolutely amazing food and happy staff. Really delicious and exciting menu and just the thing to lift the spirits and have a good chat over whilst enjoying the view of the castle, especially on a day when rain wants to limit castle wandering. Definitely going to be revisiting very soon.

I lovely little restaurant run by two fantastic people who are clearly both very busy and dedicated to what they do. I feel the reviews on here are unnecessarily harsh. If you are looking for a simple and tasty Chinese meal then you have found the right place. I can recommend the chicken curry and the salt and pepper chicken

Harlech Tandoori

I have no idea why the rating here isn't much higher - their food is EXCELLENT. They have an extensive menu of delicious and very reasonably priced Indian dishes; the service is always friendly, helpful, and fast; and they're nearly always open. Bonus: you can sit and have a pint in the Lion and they'll bring your dinner over to you when it's ready. For take-away you really can't beat Harlech Tandoori. Highly recommended.
