5 the, Strand, FerndaleLovely food, friendly staff. One star taken off because I found I got more chips in a regular portion than I did in a large portion. This really let it down for me, please sort your portion sizes so that large really is large!

64 High St, FerndaleI had to collect breakfast for some workers who had a big journey in the early morning. Carol, I believe she is the manager welcomed me in to wait in the warm as it was dark and early. What a delicious human being. She had warm hot rolls ready which the work men were very greatful for. She made me a coffee while I waited. Honestly what a beautiful person. It really made my early morning alot easier. What a kind ,kind women. We definitely all need a Carol. Thank you, your kindness has not gone un-noticed ?

2 Llewellyn St, Pontygwaith, FerndaleAmaaazing place. Staff are really friendly, there are nice clean toilets with good toilet paper, the food is *incredible* and the price is fantastic. We shared about 8 dishes between four of us and it was under 20 quid a head for loads of really superb food. We were even treated to a small impromptu performance when one of the staff came out and started singing, and he had a great voice! Thank you so much, we've been gere twice now and will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: There are loads if veg dishes

12 Duffryn St, FerndaleOrdered through Food Hub. Even though the ETA said 60 mins, food came in 20 (we do live just around the corner though!). Everything was piping hot and fresh, and tasted delicious. Especially liked the sweet and sour sauce which verged more on the sour side than sweet - just how I like it! We even got an extra spring roll and a free bag of prawn crackers. Will definitely be eating from here again, loved it. Thank you!

My wife and I had our wedding on Sept 7th, all evening all I had were compliments about how good the food was. Martin really cares and it's about the food experience for him, he went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Martin for pulling out all the stops for us, highly recommended ❤️

58 Maerdy Rd, Maerdy, FerndaleA group of us recently took our children to Darren Park in Ferndale after we finished work. On the way to the park I collected a takeaway from the Grill House in Maerdy. I placed an online order for chips, pizzas, chickens wraps, kebabs, burgers and fried chicken. The order was ready at the allocated time and I received excellent customer service from the friendly man who served me. When I arrived at the park the food was still piping hot. We sat on a picnic bench and the portion sizes were very good. The food tasted great with lots of fresh ingredients and flavours. The children really enjoyed their end of term treat and there was plenty of food to go around. After eating tea the children enjoyed playing in the well equipped park and watching the fish in the lake. We stayed at Darren Park until sunset. We would recommend a visit to the Grill House, because the food tasted fantastic and offered great value for money. We will definitely return.
