Rozi's
119 Station Rd, Conwy2nd visit to Deganwy and 2nd time of ordering. Being Indian, I was very specific about my order. It was definitely taken in to consideration. Absolutely fantastic spinach and lamb last time but only wanted a Naga King Prawn starter. It blew my head off as I wanted and just look at the size of the Prawn! Perfect in every way. Thank you so much.

Liverpool Arms
Lower Gate St, ConwyWe called in for a drink on a weekday in October and were allowed to eat food from elsewhere in their outside area (seagulls permitting!) because they don’t do food themselves.
Slightly surprised to see negative comments on pricing and plastic glasses. Proper glasses are permitted in their own demarcated area but if you want to take drinks further afield, you’ll need to settle for plastic.
Prices? Under £12 for a large glass of red wine (and it was large!) and a pint of the local cider didn’t seem unreasonable to us but we’re from the Midlands.
Perhaps locals don’t see it that way but it is in an absolutely prime location on the harbour side in a tourist area.
Overall, a pleasant visit but do beware marauding seagulls!

Fishermans Chip Shop
3 Castle St, ConwyBest chips I’ve had in a long time.
I always like to get a portion of chips and stroll along the sea front whenever I’m on the coast. Usually they are rather disappointing, not here though.
Great tasting chips, served in a take away box ( which is useful to keep the seagulls at bay). Call in, you won’t be disappointed.

Alfredos Restaurant
9-10, Lancaster Square, ConwyI believe Alfredo’s has been taken over by new owners so went to try it tonight. Fantastic service from entering to leaving the restaurant. Only a few staff as it was a Monday evening but they were all so lovely…professional and polite with a smile on their face. Could not have asked for more with regards to the service we received.
Food was lovely. For starter, husband had the chicken goujons with a chilli dipping sauce and I opted for garlic bread (bread was homemade) with cheese and we shared chips with truffle and Parmesan…absolutely yummy.
For mains I had the chicken Alfredo tagliatelle ( chicken and mushrooms in a creamy sauce) and husband had a fillet steak with triple cooked chips and a blue cheese sauce. Again another delicious meal. We were too full to even look at the sweet menu!! The price is on par to other similar restaurants.
We will definitely be going back to Alfredo’s ?

2A High St, ConwyWent there to grab a bite in the afternoon, to go. Fish was very crispy and taste good, fries were meh, no taste and a little undercooked. Also had a lot of green spots we did not eat
Restaurant itself is a little small, more of a snack bar than a restaurant

Mulberry Stores
Conwy Marina Ellis Way, ConwyI have visited the Mulberry Pub for at least 15 years. The food served is pricy but always so tasty, so well worth the price paid. And the view on Conwy marina is majestic and unique. However, I found some staff were not very friendly and some other guests were pushy and rude.

Nikki Ips Restaurant Wine Bar & Cafe
47-57 Station Rd, Deganwy, ConwyThe wife and I had a reasonable Anniversary meal here.
We arrived at 6pm on a Thursday with no reservation. They were able to accommodate plus which was great. Service was fantastic, the staff are very attentive, saying that the place was empty when we arrived.
Ribs for starters were amazing.
Mains: beef curry and Thai sweet chilli chicken. Flavours were great in the chicken dish, curry was a little bland but ok.
We enjoyed ourselves but we wouldn't return due to the prices and the mains being underwhelming. Ribs starters £11, mains £20 (ish).

Mount Pleasant, ConwyWe loved our stay at Castlebank. Henrique was friendly and very helpful with recommendations for what to do and where to eat. The location was easily walkable to all Conwy has to offer.

Cantîn
Town Ditch Rd, ConwyWonderful for vegans
Actually, this is an all-around wonderful place!
There is a range of vegan and vegetarian options. I nearly went for the mushroom soup, made with oat milk (I've had it before), but instead had the cauliflower cheese on a baked potato with side salad. Absolutely gorgeous!
Cantîn is within the Conwy Culture Centre building, they work well together, so making a visit to both a real treat.
There is disabled parking, everything is on the flat on a single level, inside and out, with a well-equipped accessible toilet.
All the staff are lovely and I really like the atmosphere. Prices seem very reasonable.

Jalsa Tandoori
31 Castle St, ConwyThis is an unlicensed Indian restaurant and takeaway with space for around 22 covers.
Tasty food served speedily during a busy half term Sunday evening. Excellent value for money, generous portions and good service from friendly staff.
Our evening was slightly spoilt by a lot of noise from a couple of large groups of diners who had no awareness of their impact on others but fully appreciate this is not something the hosts can control.
As it's quite a compact space it's not possible to seat couples in a quieter corner where they can hear each other!
Parking: 20-25 covers - space limited therefore noise an issue
Kid-friendliness: Kids present during our visit which was half term. Break away for our anniversary which falls within half term holiday!
