Lovely food, large portions, ( I didn't have room for pudding!) and friendly staff. Also had a sign encouraging people to use cash where they can which is great to see. Can highly recommend.

We spent 1 lovely week on vacation on the narrowboat. The staff was competent, friendly and very accommodating. The boat Cathleen was a bit old, but was in very good shape and everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you and see you next time.

We nipped in for a drink as we were walking along the River Dee in to Chirk. It had just been taken over less than a week ago and was not fully stocked. Friendly barman, all the best on bringing the pub back to life!
