Fantastic bar where you can drink a variety of craft ales, lagers + ciders, a friendly mixed crowd, an enjoyable atmosphere where you can listen to grass roots music usually at the weekend or open mic, comedy or games nights during the week. Well away from the usually crowd, I’d highly recommend as the best bar in Carmarthen.

George's Fish & Chips Of St Clears

Spotted this gem whilst out on the road delivering and it didn’t disappoint! Friendly and welcoming service, excellent food, very yummy and great portion size! Would highly recommended and can’t wait to pop back!

Fabulous friendly staff especially Jennifer shes always fab. Tasty food. Good Atmosphere. My dad loves it here because of the friendly staff, he feels relaxed here and welcome here makes all the difference. Thank you all.

Cinnamon Indian cuisine

We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday at the end of May. A lady that worked there coaxed us in and I'm glad she did. The food was absolutely superb and great value for money. Me and my wife left full and happy. Highly recommend and I hope we're in the area to visit again soon!

Cofio Lounge

Had the most amazing Galentine’s Evening painting wine glasses with my friends! Such a fun and creative experience, made even better by the gorgeous atmosphere. The tapas were absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavour and the drinks were beautifully crafted. A perfect mix of laughter, art and great company. Can’t think of a better way to spend an evening! Highly recommend for a memorable and special night out.

Carmarthen Tandoori Indian Takeaway

Fabulous food and very polite and courteous staff. 5 star hygiene rating too.The House specialities are amazing.Because of its location at the end of the run of take-aways on the street it is often over looked however I would recommend you give it a try as it really is quite superb.In fairness Carmarthen has quite a good selection of Indian take-aways but this is up there with them.

Lovely food, friendly staff, clean. Would definitely recommend it.

Vegetarian options: Really, like the fact, the chips are cooked in separate oil from any meat products.

Parking: Disabled parking available.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food choices for kids. High chairs available.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, easy access. Plus disabled toilet.

Coffee#1 Carmarthen

Food is average, nothing special but the coffee is the best in Carmarthen by far. If you're just looking for a great coffee don't go anywhere else. My teenage kids tell me the hot chocolate is amazing.

The White Lion Inn

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at this olde worlde pub today everything was fresh and hot and very reasonably priced. Staff were lovely can't fault it. Will definitely be going back soon for another Sunday lunch.

The Cross House Inn

Stopped at The Grist Street Food, outside the Cross House Inn after a walk around the area. Burger, wraps etc were all delicious and cooked fresh to order. Grist Burger Stack in particular was perfecto.

The Black Ox

Many thanks to Lauren, Gary & the team for helping me organise a surprise party last night. For dealing with the food orders, helping organise the room and for being more than welcoming to the party guests. We had many positive comments about the food and the pub in general. Special thanks to Lauren for playing her part in keeping in with the surprise until the last minute. Highly recommend a visit albeit for food or just a drink. Thank you so much xx

Coracle Tavern

Looking for a Sunday Dinner. We booked a table for four adults and 3 children .And would like to say how much we Enjoyed our experience. Warm friendly staff. Plenty of room between tables .The food was Excellent and good choice of Starters. Meats. and Desserts. The cooked Dinner was very tasty and plentiful. My roast pork was Excellent. Will Definetly be returning to the Coracle Tavern. Thank you all at the Coracle Tavern for a lovely lunch.

Coracle Fish Bar

I started visiting The Coracle decades ago, when I was a student at Dyfed College of Art. I haven't lived in Carmarthen since then, but whenever I'm in the area I call at The Coracle. I was there at lunchtime on 17/10/2023, and I was served by the most delightful lady. The steak and kidney pie was quite possibly the best I've ever had, incredibly meaty. I'll definitely continue my tradition of visiting The Coracle, it's the best chip shop I know of.

Had the pleasure of eating here in April 2024. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff were very friendly. The service was well organised. The place was clean including the toilets. Highly recommend.

Gezellige boel daar. Geen eten Geen probleem take away gehaald en hier op gegeten. De kady zorgde voor bestek servetten en borden. Lekker pint erbij waar vind je nog zo gastvrije en flexibele

The Point Cafe

It's a cute little spot with a gorgeous sea view for lunch. The staff were super friendly, but the food was kinda average. My fish and chips were a bit overcooked, but my partner loved his English breakfast.

Just a warning though, the seating inside might be a squeeze for bigger folks. They have those fixed booths with benches, and let's just say they're designed for the more svelte diner. Maybe grab a table outside if you're feeling a bit roomy!

The Vaults

We popped in for a quick bite to eat. The Vaults is a lovely place, great atmosphere and food. Staff are brilliant. Friendly and professional.We had the sharing tapas menu of 2 tapas +a side for £16. It was delicious, the quality of food was great, and it was very enjoyable.Our only complaint was that the tapas only had 3 pieces of bread and 3 of the meat. Could have done with 4 of each to be a true sharing tapas, but meh. Otherwise, fab.

Oriental Garden

The best Chinese food we've had for a long time. Good vegetarian choices alongside the meat and fish dishes all well cooked and delicious. Good size portions too meaning a main dish with rice is good for dinner and lunch the next day. We'll definitely be back.

Vegetarian options: The mock duck satay was delicious, and I'm not even the vegetarian but I can't lie, very tasty and good meat texture.

Neil's Fish & Chips

I had a big order and with no notice the staff were able to accommodate at speed.

Food was on the greasy side but I rushed them to be fair.

Vegetarian options: Limited but they exist
