called into the pontigwindy for lunch we had two fish one gammon and a leek and cheese pie all food was served pipping hot which really impressed my husband as he hates his food warm there was also plenty of chips too the fish was such good valve as it was really big both friends were really please with their food and as a result we will all go back on a month basis looking forward to trying other items on the menu ?
This is the first couples night we have had in a long time and the staff made everything so easy and relaxing for us. The food was beautiful, main and dessert! The new menu had a variety of options for any tastes as well as a gluten free menu. Would fully recommend to anyone family or couples for a fantastic meal and atmosphere! Thank you all for making tonight an fantastic evening, and will hopefully see you all soon!

We went to the Pontygwindy Inn yesterday with some friends. We had a lovely meal. My husband and I both had fish and chips. Our friend had leek and potato pie and her husband had the gammon. All of our meals were beautifully cooked and there was plenty of it. The staff were really pleasant . I'm disabled and use a wheelchair and I found the Pontygwindy was very wheelchair friendly. The Inn is not too far from Caerphilly Castle so is ideal for lunch or a snack
