36 High St, Blaenau FfestiniogCame for a lunch with my family after a visit to Zip World - plenty to choose from - soup to breakfasts to toasties and baguettes. Food was tasty and service was fast and friendly. Lady even gave us a walking tour map of the area for the kids which I loved. Recommended

Sgwar yr Eglwys., Llan FfestiniogLocated near to our Hotel (which were not doing evening meals) The choice of food was good along with a good selection of beers and spirits, (which we sampled) staff and locals very friendly. The food arrived reasonably quickly it was hot, plentiful and tasted really good.

High St, Blaenau FfestiniogGreat day out on the steam train - really friendly, knowledgeable and informative staff who clearly love what they do. Had a superb trip. Well worth a visit - a lovely day out. we went first class and were lucky enough to have the observation car =- so panoramic views.

Be aware this is a cash only establishment which I didn't know so lucky I always carry a bit.The place is a bit run down to be honest but the young lad behind the counter was friendly enough. Not the worst place to go and would come back no problem.

28 High St, Blaenau FfestiniogTasty Takeaway Chinese Food we found online that was open on a Monday We arrived ordered our takeaway meal choices and waited after paying cash as this Chinese takeaway does not accept cards. Before not very long waiting our order arrived and we returned to our room in our Hotel 2 miles away to eat it. We found our meals to be very well cooked hot and very tasty. So no complaints from us about the The Taste Gardens we found. So if you are in this area give then a try as they are open 7 days a week unlike many others who close on a Monday? 18 Church St, Blaenau FfestiniogReally great Chinese. Good quality food, not overpriced, with realistic collection times. The salt and pepper box is particularly good value and easily enough food for two or more. It's everything you would want in a rural Chinese - and really tasty. Always very happy with food here, can see why it's a local favourite - had friends as far as Harlech mention jealously how good it is when they know I'm getting some. The staff are really lovely as well, and the waiting room is absolutely fantastic. It's like something out of a movie, wood panelling floor to ceiling and a selection of seats while you wait for your food
