Restaurants in Betws-y-Coed

Hangin' Pizzeria
1 Station Rd, Betws-y-CoedStaying in Betws-y-Coed, I was looking on Google Maps for what was around and was drawn to Hangin' Pizzeria. Once I'd seen the photos, I knew we had to pay a visit - and it was better than I expected! Great staff, wonderful atmosphere, cool interior and of course, incredible pizza! On a cold, late-November afternoon, is there a nicer treat? You will find Hangin' Pizzeria in the row of shops next to the train. station. Seating is available inside and out. Alcoholic drinks and desserts are on the menu. Naturally, if you can't finish the pizza, you can take the rest home to enjoy later. Highly recommended!

Olif
Holyhead Rd, Betws-y-CoedWe stayed here for 2 nights and we couldn't have asked to stay anywhere better.
Check in was nice and easy, thoroughly explained through email and WhatsApp. We ate in the restaurant, and the food was incredible, as well as the service.
Room was lovely, and quiet.
Location is perfect, and we will definitely look to stay again.
Owners are lovely, and welcoming and will help with anything that is needed.

The Alpine Coffee Shop
Station Approach, Betws-y-CoedGreat coffee, great food.
Proper home made chips were a treat and it all arrived very, very quickly even though they were busy.
My sister and brother in law loved their vegetarian breakfasts, "especially the sausage". My wife had a really cheesy rarebit that was delicious (I had some!).

Y Stablau - Stables Bar
Holyhead Rd, Betws-y-CoedGreat place we visit every time we head to snowdonia. This Saturday night was fantastic, great guiness and the live guitarist had everyone up dancing at the end of the night. Superb!

Conwy Falls Cafe
Pentrefoelas, Betws-y-CoedI thought I'd sent this review last week. We were there on Sept 14th, and in spite of the signs saying they were short staffed, the service was quick and friendly.
It was a grotty day, so it was quite busy too.
I'd never heard of it before, but we watched the videos on my phone of the overnight adventure they do. We'll be back.
We also took a tour of the Conwy Falls path. £2 payable by cash or card.

SPAR - Betws-Y-Coed
Siop Tandderwen, Holyhead Rd, Betws-y-CoedThis place is unreal! Visited Betws Y Coed this week and found this gem of a place! Their sweet treats are absolutely divine. Seriously best Aero flapjack I’ve ever had EVER! We are sweet treat connoisseurs and have eaten LOTS of them, none as good as the ones from this little gem! Wish they had an online shop because I’d be buying from them every week!! What makes it even more superb is the staff, they’re super friendly and shopping here was a treat in itself! Can’t wait to come back!

Hen Siop Pont-Y-Pair
Pont-y-Pair, Betws-y-CoedHad fishcake chips and curry here the other day. We weren't that hungry so we were just going to have a fishcake each.
Decided to get some chips to share.
Wow. Lots of chippys claim to be the best or award winning but what I can say (coming from not the best chip lover) these were by far the best I've had in years and the fishcake was the best ever. Don't ever change that fishcake.
Absolute beaut.

The Dragon Hotel and Restaurant
Holyhead Rd, Betws-y-CoedGood value for the price. River with waterfalls runs on the other side of the road. Rooms are pretty quiet thanks for the double doors and windows. Staff is friendly and helpful (if you can find them:). Their restaurant is closed but breakfast is served every morning.
All in all: recommended.
Rooms: Room was pretty spacious and clean. Mattress is comfortable, pillows are very very flat tho. Tv, mini fridge, kettle, complimentary tea & coffee in rooms. Bathroom accessories, along with towels are provided.
Nearby activities: Waterfall and forest path in the centre of the town : 4 mins walk. Swallow Falls waterfalls: 6 mins drive. Conwy waterfalls: 7 mins drive.
S1 bus (to Pen-y-Pass, leaves from the train station in every hour): 11 minutes walk.
Lots of forest walks nearby.
Walkability: Easy access to town centre, only 4 mins walk.
Lots of restaurants, even more outdoor clothing shops. Found only 2 store (Spar & Londis), both pretty small.
Food and drinks: Cooked breakfast provided, don't forget to leave your breakfast card at reception on the previous day.
