Restaurants in Beaumaris

Happy Valley Pavilion Cafe
B5109, BeaumarisSome of the best coffee in Beaumaris. The cakes were exceptional and it was great to see a gluten free option. We took away sandwiches for lunch which were generously filled and delicious. We could not fault the service and were grateful for the blankets and colouring books that kept us warm and entertained.

The Pilot House Cafe
Black Point, Penmon, BeaumarisWe always visit the amazing Pilot House Cafe at Penmon Beach for their brilliant range of vegan food. There is a choice of vegan pizzas, burgers, cakes, ice cream and hot drinks including hot chocolate which you can drink on the cosy sofa next to the fire. They have recently added delicious vegan milkshakes with vegan cream and chocolate buttons in several flavours including mint chocolate! The food is freshly cooked, always tasty and very reasonable. It's lovely to find somewhere that carers for everyone and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Harry's Bistro
Henllys, Henllys Ln, Llan-faes, BeaumarisI was treated to lunch thanks to my Girlfriend at Harry's Bistro after all the hard work I had done for her. The decor is to be desired for, as I found it to be a little out of date but some nice touches with the antique welsh dressers and mural. Service was Flawless, attentive and could not fault. The food came out piping hot as it should be in every restaurant and Bistro. Atmosphere and surroundings were peaceful and tranquil, such a lovely place in an amazing location. I had the Roast Chicken, my Girlfriend had the Special, Seabass. Desserts were Brandied bread and butter pudding and I had the Special, Sticky Pear and Stem Ginger Pudding with clotted cream, this was superb. Our meal came to £80 including 1 Peroni Lager. I highly recommend this place and I think I will be going back sometime soon.

Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour
34 Castle St, BeaumarisThis is a review for their customer service. My 2 children and husband have Coeliac Disease (auto-immune disease). The lady who served us had gluten free cones and showed me the cones and the box they came from. She also wore gloves and went into the back to get the ice cream from fresh unused tubs and used clean scoops. Hence minimising the risk of cross contamination. Thank you for taking Coeliac disease seriously and the service in making sure my children had ice creams ?

The Midland Tapas and Wine Bar
38 Castle St, Beaumarishidden away in the streets of Beaumaris, at the end of the isle of anglesey, on what feels like the last bit of land before the Menai Strait stretches out across the horizon, you will find the Midland Tapas bar. Unassuming from the outside, once inside you are welcomed with deep rich dark blues and welcoming staff and soft tunes. The selection of tapas is relatively standard but the quality is above par. The Pan Tomaca especially was a feast for the tastebuds. A nice accompanying glass of red and a tasty cinamonny dessert made evening complete. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and the service was excellent and quick, considering it was quite busy and there only seemed to be a small team working. Thanks for a lovely evening!

The Bull's Head Inn, Beaumaris
Castle St, BeaumarisI can’t comment on the accommodation, as I only ate here.
My wife and I ate here one night, realised how good it was and so we went the next night too.
The food, service, etc. etc. were all excellent. We chose it for our second night because we realised there couldn’t be anywhere better locally.
Next time I’m in Beaumaris, this is definitely where I will eat.

Tredici
13 Castle St, BeaumarisSuch an amazing restaurant! The pasta was delicious, al dente and tasty. The service was quick, friendly and very attentive. They gave our dog a bowl of water which was very kind. There is no service but you can ask for the wifi code and password. The restaurant is comfortable and cosy.
Wheelchair accessibility: They opened a door specially designed for wheelchairs. The only thing is that the toilet is upstairs, but there are public toilets just around the corner.
