King Edward St, BarmouthWe visited the pub during half term, it's a great pub, the food was lovely very large portions and the burgers were very tasty. The prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly. You can hire the snooker table for a £5 per hour plus they had a few board games to entertain the kids. would highly recommend.

Staffordshire House, BarmouthHad THE most wonderful 5 course meal at Foxgloveve at the beginning of October. What a treat to have such an amazing fine dining Vegan Restaurant. Antonella and Luke were so welcoming to us and our little whippet, Dora and we are still talking about our experience as neither of us can remember ever having had such a delicious meal before. It was sensational and we are very, very much hoping to make a return visit when we are next anywhere near Barmouth.

High St, BarmouthHad Lunch today with my Adult Kids at The Lunchbox.
Not the cheapest but really nice food, lovely atmosphere and the young Lady who served us was very giggly and a pleasure to meet.
We won’t have time to go again this Holiday but we’ll be back.

Goodies
33 High St, BarmouthWe walked in and sat at a free table (it's 29th August at 1pm ish). We all opted for afternoon tea at £11.50 each. This included a selection of sandwiches (that we were able to alter to preference), a slice of cake, bara brith and a scone with jam and clotted cream. Also a basic tea or coffee and if you prefer a latter, capp or mocha or hot choc £1 extra. Also orange or apple juice for kiddies. The sandwiches would make up 1 full 2 slice sandwich. Serving was ample. Very nice. Staff friendly and accommodating. Will come back again definitely!

The Quay, BarmouthBeen coming here for years, always my first choice. Not 'posh' (And hope it stays that way). Frequented by locals- always a good sign - decent food, friendly staff, amazing view.

High St, BarmouthStayed here to go and watch the fireworks, lovely stay. staff were friendly. my 9 year old said breakfast was yummy. he also said the bed they made up for him was very comfy. lovely room. Will definitely stay again. Thankyou x

The Mermaid
Jubilee Rd, BarmouthI've been enjoying fish and chips at the Mermaid since I was a young child, I visit Barmouth frequently and I wouldn't use any other chippy, the food is amazing, the staff are wonderful and polite. The food is so fantastic that I've happily waited in line for a long time because I know I will never ever be disappointed. A family run business committed to it's customers and community too, what can I say other than endorse endorse endorse!

Llanaber, BarmouthWonderful place serving stunningly good food with a fantastic backdrop provided by the Welsh coastline and it's dog-friendly on the terrace too!
The lobster was spectacular - among the best I've ever tasted. If I could give this more than five stars, I would.

2 Church St, BarmouthAlways visit here when in Barmouth. This is probably the best coffee in town. The berry smoothie is also recommended.
The only food we have had has been a toasted tea cake but looking at the menu on the wall, I would say that the drinks and food are very well priced.

The Quay, BarmouthWe come here often when we visit Barmouth. It's always amazing food. We recently had a breakfast here as a family of 6 and it was very enjoyable. Our children said it is the best sausage and breakfast they have ever tasted. The service too was superb. Highly recommend.

Church St, BarmouthA lovely little restaurant in the centre of Barmouth. We have just had our second meal here and it was as delicious as the first. Good portions of freshly cooked dishes by friendly efficient staff what more could you ask for? We will definitely come again.
Vegetarian options: There Lots of vegetable options on the regular menu as well as a separate vegetarian section.
Parking: It would be difficult to park directly outside but there's plenty of parking nearby

1 King Edward St, BarmouthGood donner meat and chips (not fries ?) unfortunately they had sold out of the chicken, was good but too much sauce, next time think ill take my out preference for hot sauce but the food was a good standard for a chippy, good selection of slushies in the summer.
Parking: Road side parking if you can find it or abandoned it and risk it, should be OK at night though, don't think I've ever seen a warden out at night

BarmouthWhat a lovely little place! The cakes, ice cream, and coffee are all delicious. The staff have always been welcoming and incredibly courteous, and this is evident by how busy and diverse the environment is, which is truly lovely to be a part of. Dogs are not just tolerated but are as welcome as the human visitors. It’s a really lovely little place to head to and one I highly recommend.
