Sunshine Take Away offers a wide menu of Chinese and classic chipshop favourites. Their excellent chips are freshly made to order, well-cooked to be tasty, crispy, never soggy, and never greasy. The service is always quick, pleasantly cheerful, and polite. Their cod in batter is really good, not at all greasy, and better value than some local chippies. Sunshine is open at lunchtime and in the evening when most chip shops are shut, making it a recommended choice. They also offer a set meal for three, including appetizers, three fried rice, and a choice of three main dishes such as crispy beef, chicken curry, and special chowmein, which is more than enough for four people.
