6 Elvaston Rd, Ryton Village, RytonDecided to give this place a try after coming across their Instagram page and seeing that they had gluten-free sourdough available. My mum is a coeliac and it’s quite difficult to find local cafés that provide gf bread. Pleased to say she was very happy with her cheese & ham toastie. She even had a slice of victoria sponge cake which was gf & df! My cheese & onion jam toastie was delicious too!
The quality of the food was fab, the coffees were great, quick and friendly service and overall a lovely atmosphere. Defo recommend and will be back again!

Crawcrook Tandoori
17 Main St, Crawcrook, RytonFirst time coming here - ordered take out for 4 people with various meals. Only a 30 minute wait. Managed to park across the road - not loads of parking nearby that I could see, but it was dark.
The staff were friendly and professional and it was clean and tidy inside. It could maybe do with a bit of light background music for the atmosphere. There were already a few people dining inside which was good going for a Monday early evening.
The food was very nice, can't really say anything bad about it. We've gone to another nearby take out for years, as well as loads around the area - we're from Whickham so a bit of a drive, but this one was just as good and we'll definitely return.

Ryton Garden Chinese Food Centre
Hexham Old Rd, RytonChicken and sweetcorn soup Is excellent. Black bean sauce & Cantonese dishes were very nice. Fried rice, chips and prawn crackers are good. Wasn't too keen on the house special fried rice needed gravy and more meaty bits. Would recommend a visit.

3 Beech Grove Ct, Crawcrook, RytonMe and mum have our sunday roast dinners delivered at 2pm when im over visiting her. Ive never tasted beef like it so tender and juicy, melts in your mouth. Old fashioned roasties and yorkies to die for. Veg cooked to perfection and always delivered on time.Where else could you get 2 superb meals delivered for 20 quid!!!! Garys a genius. Many thanks and long may it continue.

Lambs Arms Inn
Lambs Arms Buildings, Crawcrook, RytonTurned up for wake without informing pub. We got first class treatment from staff and locals. They even refused a tip despite catering for our every need. Bar maid was class. Thank you very much, you help us celebrate my mams life and showed so much respect.

Stargate Fish Shop
1 Hawthorn Gardens, RytonKind of poor today, asked if I could swap some salad instead of chips out of the offer which they used to do and refused therefore charged a lot more. Batter was soggy on underside of fish and waiting time was poor, waited 30 minutes considering I was first in the building at 11am.

15 Main St, Crawcrook, Newcastle upon Tyne, RytonBeen using Crustys for years now and by far the best locally - everything is top quality and was lucky enough recently to win one of the competitions they run which included the New Tandoori Chicken Kebab, a 10" pizza, 2 cans of pop, chips, salad and sauces - all for simply liking and sharing their post! Always very busy (which is a good sign) and even when this occasionaly leads to delivery delays they will do whatever it takes to rectify the situation ?

The Runhead
Holburn La, RytonJust moved to the area and already love this place. Food is amazing service is excellent. Kids love it as an afyer school treat tea. Lots of selection and big outdoor area for seating. Kudos to the staff who refunded my daughters price of meal back that she didn't like. We didn't ask for a refund she politely did it out of generosity.
Kid-friendliness: Kids feel settled in the friendly atmosphere.

Leonardos Pizza And Kebab
Lambs Arms Buildings, Crawcrook, RytonBeen using Leonardo’s for many years and don’t get me wrong there has been ups and downs, the last few month everything we have ordered has been delicious, hot and the delivery service is the best around! We have also started using the Leonardo’s app Saving us money rather than using Just eat and doing it this way we normally end up with a free item which means it brings the cost down a little further. A couple of weeks back a large bottle of pop was missed off but it was the last order of the night so we couldn’t get in touch with the shop, I contacted them the next day and without any argument they added the pop to our next order.

Golden Fry Chip Shop
